Great barbershop! Alex and the rest of the team are professional, and extremely talented at cutting hair. They offer you water, cofffee and different refreshments to make you feel at home.. This place is totally recommended!

I’ve been going since the barbershop first opened, and I’ve been attended by all the barbers. They always impress me with the quality of their work. The place is incredibly clean and professional, truly making the experience worth every penny. I highly recommend Midtown Spot Barbershop🫶🏻💯💯

I’ve visited this place several times accompanying my boyfriend for his haircuts, and the atmosphere is always very pleasant. The girl at the front desk is very kind and always welcomes us with coffee or water. His barber is Alex — he’s very attentive, professional, and his haircuts are excellent. Something I really want to highlight is how clean and well-organized the place is.

Love this place always neat! Our favorite barber it’s Juan R. Has been taking care of my 9 years old boy, For more than a year already. 💯 recommend Does a excellent job.

Went here for the first time today and was very pleased. Juan did a great job. He took his time and kept asking if I wanted a little more off the top (rather than rushing me out). My hair looks as good as possible, and I’ll be back. My only quibble was that I saw a sign on the street offering 20% to first-timers on my way out. It would’ve been cool if someone told me about it before I paid. (To be fair, this wasn’t Juan’s responsibility. It was another guy.)

Had a really poor experience today. I have been visiting the spot at most of their locations for quite some time and this experience at this location missed the mark. I ran a few minutes late for my appointment and was immediately told…not by the barber who I had the appointment with (whom I clearly recognized and was sitting next to the person telling me they couldn’t take me) but by the attendant behind the counter. Even more surprising, was that no one made any attempt to even try and accommodate me with another barber. To say that I was disappointed was an understatement. It was incredibly embarrassing and it sincerely didn’t leave a good impression. I will never go back. The customer service was poor and I can’t stand for that.

I’ve been going to Ax for my cuts and I can honestly say he’s one of the best barbers I’ve ever had. He’s detail-oriented, consistent, and really takes the time to make sure the cut is clean every single time. The atmosphere in his chair is always relaxed, and he makes you feel comfortable and taken care of. If you’re looking for a barber who knows his craft and actually listens to what you want, Ax is the one. Highly recommend!

There’s a place off the street with no sign to call attention. Concrete underfoot. Leather chairs set heavy like old truths. A library of books no one’s in a hurry to finish. The air still. The tools laid out in brass and steel, clean and quiet like they’ve been waiting. Juan did the cut. A fade so sharp it held its own line against the day. He worked without hurry. Like a man who’s done this a thousand times and never once rushed it. No talk, just the work. They offered bourbon. A colada too—small, strong, and honest. No upcharge. No show. Just handed over like a handshake. At the end he rinsed my scalp and gave a quick pressure at the neck, not a flourish but a finish. Something complete. The Spot is not loud about what it is. It doesn’t sell itself. It just stands there, steady. A place built for men who’ve outgrown the mirror but still respect the ritual.
