Wilfred was amazing. I flew out from LA to Miami, and found him for a haircut. He NAILED my fade and my haircut; I was so nervous to find a good barber here and I’m so glad I did. Anyone looking for a barber, Wilfred is your guy. Thank you!

I gave this place a few tries and was pleasantly surprised at first by some quality haircuts, but today I booked a 7pm haircut because I urgently needed one for a big meeting I have tomorrow, and drove about 40 minutes in a ton of traffic to get there. My barber texted me saying he was running a little late, and I explained I was gonna be about 10 minutes late, so I assumed everything would be fine. He then waited until I was 5 minutes away, at precisely 7pm, to tell me to reschedule for another day, since he had a reservation he wanted to make at 8:30. I told him that I had driven 40 mins and asked if there was anyone to fill in and cut my hair. Still, he just told me to reschedule and really screwed me over. The haircuts were solid and better priced than the $150-200 cuts I had gotten at salons in Miami, but after this terrible customer service, I will not be going back ever again.

My son always has a great experience all the barbers. Juan has been his barber the last few times and he’s enjoyed his experience everytime. The shop is clean and inviting. Everyone is so kind and welcoming every time we walk in. The guys there have gone above and beyond with my son and have helped him with his confidence. I’m forever grateful to have found this gem. I’ve been coming to The Spot and specifically Juan for years. He and the team are amongst the best and most professional barbers I’ve worked with. I’m embarrassed I haven’t given them a review earlier. Highly recommend to any one looking for quality haircuts and beard work!

Avoid The Spot Barbershop – Design District Nothing but red flags! Gave this place a second chance and regret it. First visit: beard trim was completely botched. Second time: they booked me with the wrong barber, asked me to prepay, cancelled my first payment to reschedule me with the correct barber, charged me...again, and then had the nerve to ask for a pre-tip—twice—before I even got in the chair. When I complained, I was told “no one’s ever had a problem before.” That says it all. Imagine being asked to tip at a sit down restaurant before service had even started and then wondering why consumers would be mad...completely clueless and out of touch with reality! Unprofessional, disorganized, and not worth your time or money! Plenty of better options out there.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Coming here was risky for me. I wasn’t sure if a chain of barbershops would have worked. I have some health issues and don’t have even a hair so I def gotta cover it up while I regrow. I made my appointment by randomly choosing and I’m glad I chose right! I got Juan who has already learned how to get my hair exactly how I like it. Great attention to detail and his fades the way my partner says “looks like a sunset”. Juan was also super patient in cutting my hair the first few times 🙏🙏 I couldn’t be happier to find a local barbershop in my new neighborhood. Can’t recommend him enough 🙏🙏

Had the classic haircut. I arrived about 5 min late to the appointment given how confusing it was to find the location. Nevertheless, I was greeted and was never told I was late or anything. What I wanted was pretty simple. Barber did everything in roughly 20 min, extremely fast and to be fair not too bad, but everything felt rushed. I did not get the edges cleaned with a knife, only with the buzzer. Some areas were asymmetrical but the barber was rushing too much to notice. To top it off, the comb he was using had some kind of sharp edge that literally cut me every time he used it (see photos attached). I’m sure it was not intentional, but it is bad service nevertheless. If you want better service, spend at least $60 + tip or just go somewhere else.
