I’ve been a loyal customer of this barbershop since the Miami Lakes location first opened, and it’s honestly disappointing to write this. When I first started coming here, the shop was excellent. The atmosphere was great, barbers were happy to be there, and the experience felt premium—free Coca-Cola products, name-brand liquor, and a team that genuinely enjoyed their work. Over time, unfortunately, I’ve watched the shop steadily decline. First, the complimentary drinks were taken away, then brought back at an extra cost. The name-brand liquor was replaced with lower-quality brands, yet the price of haircuts stayed the same. The overall experience no longer matches what customers are paying for. What’s more concerning is the impact on the barbers. The barbers who were once excited and proud to work here now seem unhappy due to company changes that affect both staff and clients. I’ve had two incredible barbers over the years—one left, and just a few months later, the other did as well. That says a lot. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but after witnessing such a clear drop in quality and morale, I feel it’s important to be honest. This place used to be great, and I truly hope management takes steps to bring it back to the level it once was—for the sake of both the clients and the barbers.

Been going to Christian at Miami Lakes Location for almost a year now and he hasn’t disappointed. The attention to detail is perfect. He’s all very chill and easy to talk to. I definitely recommend going to him.

Great service and ambiance. Johnny was my barber and he’s good with the scissors. I asked for a Textured fringe with low taper and blowout in the back and blend was super blurry and nice and he textured my hair evenly and did nice layers. I would go back. Paid $50 and that’s including a $10 tip, they washed my hair, gave me coffee, consulted on the haircut I wanted, and gave a great service. I would forsure recommend. From long hair styles to fades and tapes they can take care of you.

Easily the best barber experience I have ever had in my life. What stood out the most to me was how patient, respectful, and professional Philip G. was during my first haircut with him. He really listened to how I wanted my hair cut and made sure I was completely comfortable with what he was doing prior to making any adjustments. What really set Philip apart was the way he communicated throughout the entire haircut. He always asked detailed questions to better understand my preferences and never imposed his own opinion or altered the haircut to suit his preferences or convenience. He really gave me exactly what I was asking for. The environment of the barbershop is also extremely welcoming and clean. All the staff are very friendly, and always offer complimentary drinks and coffee when I walk in. It’s a small touch that genuinely elevates the entire experience. If you really want a barber who truly listens and delivers exactly what you’re envisioning, Philip G. is the man. I can't recommend him enough!

Such a great/wonderful experience every time I come to the spot in Miami lakes. The staff is very welcoming, the service they provide is excellent. My son and I are always satisfied with the outcome of all the different looks after our monthly visit top it off the biggest thank you to his barber yesterday “Yaxon” for making my son the happiest little customer! He was beyond excited of having half of his hair red “like spider-man” and his new haircut, which btw he has received a lot of compliments on!

While one doesn't really go solely for what the barbershop looks like, you go for the service and the individual that is going to provode thst service, this shop still hits the mark. But this isn't just about this barber shop its about Yaxon, the barber. My guy is an artist and a true professional who is as detailed as surgeon. What you want and how you want it is exactly what youll get, not only that but you will get the hospitality you deserve. If you are someone like me who just hasnt been fortunate enough to find a barber who gets you and what you want, come check Yaxon out at The Spot in Miami Lakes just alongside Mainstreet. This is your guy.
