I had a fantastic experience with Ayumi! I first went in for a haircut and was immediately impressed by how meticulous and detail-oriented she was. She really took her time to make sure everything was just right, and the result was one of the best haircuts I’ve had. I was so pleased that I went back for a hot towel shave—and it was excellent. Relaxing, precise, and done with the same level of care and professionalism. On top of that, Ayumi is genuinely friendly and easy to talk to, which makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

Ayumi is great! I was looking for a New York style haircut and that’s a very hard thing to achieve in Miami Beach. It took me a very long time before I found Ayumi, she cuts my hair exactly how I want. She worked in Queens New York before and that’s probably why she can do a perfect haircut for me. I only hope that she stays in this location so I don’t need to resume my search for a good barber again.

Everyone here cuts hair really well, and I take careful note of the other barbers when I was here so they were all excellent. I did see Ayumi and the haircuts were beyond amazing. Her attention to detail and creativity is exceptional. She understands your vision and makes it a reality. The beard cuts were great, and she takes her time to do things right. I brought my friend here as well and she also gave him an equally amazing haircut and beard shave. I am not in the area year round, but whenever I am, I will be returning to Mr Blendz.

I used to see Ayumi when she was based in Queens, NY, and she was hands down one of the best hairdressers I've ever worked with. I usually got her medium-length designer/scissor cuts. She knew exactly how to handle my complex hair. Her Japanese cutting techniques kept my medium-long hair feeling light and natural. Truly top-tier work. Miami is very lucky to have her.

I must admit, I am typically quite particular about who styles my hair. However, after reviewing Ayumi's portfolio on Facebook, I decided to entrust her with the task today, and it proved to be an excellent decision. Her innate talent for hair cutting is truly remarkable. I will see her again next time I need a cut.

I just moved to Miami two months ago, and Ayumi is the first barber I’ve gone to since being here — and I can confidently say I won’t be going to anyone else! She gave me a super clean low skin fade and took her time to make sure every detail was perfect. You can tell she truly cares about her work and takes pride in doing it right. On top of that, she’s extremely friendly, professional, and makes you feel comfortable the entire time.
