Look, I’m sure all the barbers are great at certain cuts. But you have to be really careful if you don’t want the cut too short. I showed a photo, even said none off the top, and keep the sides long, and I walk out looking like a state trooper with a flat top. Come on now.

Raised prices for kids ~ 12%! Now require account and login to book! Charge $2.50 to book online. Another 6% increase!! No one answers the phone. Total 18% increase!!!! I know for a fact that The Spot is getting a majority of the $2.50 booking fee but will blame on the online service. Please dont. i live in this world Just lost a family of 4! Would rather pay more elsewhere that is honest and upfront.

I’ve been going to The Spot Barbershop since I moved to Doral in 2021. Because my hair is more complex and I get weekly haircuts, it’s essential for me to have a barber who truly understands my style and delivers consistent results every time. After trying a few different barbers, I had my first cut with Cristian—and I’ve been with him ever since. For the past four years, Cristian has consistently provided an exceptional level of service, helping me look and feel my best for weddings, trips, birthdays, concerts, the holidays, and every other special occasion. Beyond his talent as a barber, Cristian has become a friend. Our conversations are always meaningful, and he somehow never forgets to make sure I have my coffee ready. I feel incredibly lucky to have him as my barber. Thank you, Cristian, for all these amazing years!

The Spot Barbershop (Doral Downtown): careless, argumentative, and zero consent I had a Saturday Dec 20th, 12:00 PM appointment at The Spot Barbershop – Doral Downtown (Doral, FL) for a beard trim and arrived on time. They assigned me to Melvis. I explained very clearly what I wanted: a beard fade — tighter up top, fuller toward the bottom/chin. Instead of confirming anything, he immediately started machine-shaving my sideburn/patilla area without asking if I wanted it touched, how high, or what shape. By the time I stopped him, it was too late: he had already shaved my right sideburn way up. When I asked why he did that, he claimed I “asked for it” (clearly I didn’t) and then doubled down trying to argue that he was right and I was wrong because I said “fade.” A beard fade is not permission to start removing major parts of someone’s head hair without checking first. The combination of bad judgement + cookie-cutter unqualified barber + zero communication + no accountability is next-level. I canceled the service and walked out before he even started trimming my beard. I told the front desk lady on the way out and got no real response and no attempt to fix the situation. Not even a call afterwards!! If you care about your beard and want a barber who listens, confirms, and doesn’t freestyle with clippers on your head, avoid this place—especially if they assign you to Melvis.

Awesome experience! Yandy did an amazing job with my haircut and beard trim — super clean and professional. The face and neck massage at the end was a nice bonus. Really chill vibe and top-notch service. Highly recommend!

A wheat for a fresh cut. The decoration is soooooo nice. A bit crazy old style with a pick hung up to the wall, some military boat doors and a flippers with neons hung up on the seeling. About the haircut. I got Christian do the job. He is a really nice person very peaceful and he brings you in a very calm mood. He cut me very well. He knew what I wanted even though I only said a few words. I recommend him he is very professional!.
