This place exceeded my expectations. They were very friendly. I needed a quick hair and beard trim before my wedding and Carolina crushed it. She was fast and the end result was perfect.

If you are looking to cut your hair with a dictator, if you want to be ignored and have your opinion completely dismissed, and spend 30 minutes with one of the most arrogant, dismissive, and unpleasant people who thinks she can tell you, “No, I am not going to do what you want,” or “No, I know what I’m doing and I won’t do it the way you want,” or “If you didn’t like the way I cut your child’s hair, don’t bring him here anymore,” — if you are looking for this type of “service” and want to pay $50 to be disgusted and treated like shit, this is the place for you. Choose Carolina. She can make your day feel miserable in seconds just by looking at you when you walk in. I will NEVER step into this establishment again — as Carolina herself recommended. ABSURDLY overpriced. I was charged almost $70 for a skin fade and beard trim AND I walked in. If I had scheduled an appointment they said they would have charged even more (I forget if they said 10 or $15). Factor in tip, and you can get almost 2 haircuts 5 minutes down the road in Stamford. They don't straight razor and screwed up my hairline. My barber was also silent for most of it until I made conversation. Utterly disappointed. Never going back.

Truly one of the least attentive barbers i have ever dealt with in my life. She seemed more interested in finishing the job than doing a good job. The haircut took all of maybe 8 minutes. I had to point out to her that my hair was uneven and then she begrudgingly evened it out. On top of that, I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip and was basically told the tip would be 10 dollars. I wanted to tip 0, truthfully, which I have never done at a barber shop. The only reason I gave 3 stars is that the last time I was here, the barber did an outstanding job and I had the complete opposite experience. I will not be returning.

Would not recommend. $54 for a simple men’s haircut that was 20 minutes. Price was not disclosed before hand.

I can’t say enough good things about Gabby & Ariel! Every time I come in, I leave feeling fresh and confident. The attention to detail is incredible. They take the time to make sure every fade, line, and trim is absolutely perfect. You can really tell they care about their craft and their customers. The shop is always clean, welcoming, and has a great vibe. If you’re looking for a barber who’s consistent, skilled, and genuinely passionate about their work, this is the place.

Desk staff and shampooer very welcoming and personable. I was a walk in based on the positive reviews here but I had a terrible experience. I did not know the stylists so just went to the next one available. I brought a picture of a classic pixie cut which I thought would be easy to do. The stylist seemed uncertain this would be flattering. The stylist struggled and asked for help. I was very uncomfortable by the criticism she received. I was so uncomfortable that even though I did not like the haircut I felt I could not express myself. I was and am super unhappy with the haircut which is not like the picture and incredibly unflattering. Maybe if you know your stylist and know what you want this is a good place to go.

I can’t say enough great things about Generations and especially Carolina! She is hands down the best barber I’ve ever had. I literally drive from another state just to get my haircut by her—and it’s worth every mile. Carolina is always accommodating and somehow always manages to fit me into her schedule. She’s consistently smiling, always in a great mood, and genuinely one of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet. She does an amazing job every single time. I never have to worry about how my hair will turn out—she listens carefully and always does exactly what I ask. The consistency, attention to detail, and care she puts into every cut is truly next level. Beyond her skill, it’s her positive energy that makes each visit such a great experience. You walk in and instantly feel welcomed and comfortable. Carolina is a total professional and a wonderful person. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair—she’s that good! If you’re looking for someone who’s talented, friendly, and genuinely cares about her clients, Carolina is it. Highly, highly recommend!

Place is nice and Clean. Welcoming atmosphere. Carolina who cut my hair was amazing. Gave me good advices about how to take care of my hair. Did a nice job and was phocusing on me not on the phone like many other places do so. Highly recommend to anyone.

I’ve been going to Carolina for years, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. She’s a fantastic stylist who really knows what she’s doing—and she’s consistently given me great cuts every time. On top of that, she’s genuinely pleasant to be around and always makes for good conversation. It’s rare to find someone who’s both skilled and easy to talk to, and Carolina is exactly that. Highly recommend!
