I’m a 63 year old veteran. I get a “high and tight” haircut every 20-30 days. I usually get these cuts from Floyd’s in Fort Collins. I needed to go closer to home today in Longmont. My experience was terrible. I asked for a “high and tight” and 50 minutes later did not get what I wanted. At Floyd’s in Fort Collins, I am in and out in 20 minutes with a shampoo! At the Longmont store, the stylist used 3 different clipper attachments, etc. and still didn’t get it right! I told the stylist at least 3 times that this was not what I expected. Then, at checkout, they charged me $45 for a “specialty cut”, I did not ask for anything special. I NEVER pay that price at Floyd’s Fort Collins. I complained about the price and the cut, but in the end I got ripped off for the worst haircut experience I have had in memory. So Floyd’s in Fort Collins, for me, has been 5 stars, this experience in Longmont motivated me to write this review.

The stylist was very friendly and professional. They did a great job with the cut and the shampooing/hair wash was super nice and relaxing. He also put a steamed towel on my face while having my hair washed (he asked first, and of course I gladly said yes. It was a dash of needed relaxation). He did a good job with the layers and the length. I enjoyed my experience there.

I had a wonderful experience at this salon. I am very happy with my hair color, it turned out beautiful. Everyone was very kind and welcoming, especially Emily, my stylist. She did an amazing job and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I will definitely come back and I highly recommend this place

Staff is always friendly, welcoming, and professional. This is the only place that I will get my haircut. You really listen to what I want, and your suggestions come from a place of experience and care. l've been coming here for the past 4 years, so thank you for still doing a great job.

And the people and The barbers were excellent. They gave me a great haircut and were very friendly, helpful and talkative. The problem came when I went to pay and they don't take credit cards. They have a kiosk that will allow you to get cash, but that just didn't work for me for some reason. So we had to go off and find a ATM somewhere and and come back and it was really annoying. Since I never carry cash I probably will never be back

I won't be coming back and I won't be trying any other locations nor would recommend this place to anyone. The music was blasting so loud that I could hear it through the walls at the Urgent Care I went to next door for some mild symptoms I was having. I was fine, and my annoyance grew at how disrespectful this place was blasting their music. It was loud enough inside the place that the poor older woman who trimmed my beard is probably getting a hearing issue or tinnitus from this. Turn the music down so your customers can talk to their stylist. This isn't a club, and you don't get cool points for blasting music. My beard trim, albeit cheap (12 dollars, 18 after tip), was not worth it at all. I asked for a strong jaw/chin and she cut off so much hair, I lost most the beard I had been growing so she could shape a longer beard. She also took the "chin" part literally. She hurriedly explained at the end why she did what she did to cut my beard shape. She left hairs directly in the front of my chin long but not underneath my chin. Why would someone want a strong 2 inch patch on their chin? Obviously a strong chin means leaving the hair longer around that entire area, not just the front of my face so the long hairs hung weirdly over the short hairs under the chin. She also "cleaned up" my neck and I had 4 or more couple cm patches that were completely missed and the very long hairs remained. Not worth my time or money again. Try a real barbershop, a local one maybe, not the Great clips of beards (Floyd's). And seriously. Turn the music down, especially for your building neighbors who are seeing doctors for illness and pain. Additionally, people have sensory issues and don't want a beard trim at a bar/club! That's ridiculously out of touch. Good luck to all here and I hope the nice older lady who was working there pleases other customers and I hope she gets paid enough by y'all to retire after working at a terrible atmosphere like Floyd's. Overall, even if you paired me with the best beard barber there for free, I would not likely come back due to the childish and out of touch atmosphere. No 18 year old kids (your target group) in longmont has money to get their services done incorrectly at a place like this.

Fantastic stylists who are great with kids. Our daughter gets a pixie cut and they do a great job and make her feel special. The prices are also fair.

New to town, didn't make an appointment. The front desk person was very helpful and was able to fit me in. Stephanie, my stylist was very friendly, asked what I usually get done and then went about my haircut, shampoo, scalp massage and even got a shoulder massage. This was the my best experience getting my haircut, for as long as I can remember.
