My barber israel did a great job. He was very attentive to making a solid fade on my hair, he was an apprentice barber so they even offered a price tier difference. I’ll be back for sure

My husband went in for a haircut and Israel was absolutely the best! Very professional, friendly, great personality and we loved that he spoke Spanish, my husband enjoyed his visit very much. We highly recommend him!

Have been going to get my hair cut by Ivana for 4+ years. She always does a killer job and has some great people working for her as well. 10/10 service everytime

Very disappointed. The name “Taper Godz” is misleading and does not reflect the quality of work being done. Israel was my barber, and the haircut was poorly done, lacking basic skill, precision, and professionalism. It was bad enough that I now have to pay another barber to fix what was messed up. This is not the level of service anyone should expect from a professional barbershop. I would not recommend this place based on my experience. I’m not from around here at all I google the shop but they expect me to know who is experienced and who is not get out of here! That just show how bad of a businesswoman you are! Take accountability for your business and your employees! Don’t blame the customer for your business lack of! But I thank you and your business so much bc without you guy I wouldn’t have meet Chico one of the best barbers in the city. I would recommend everyone who read this to go to Chico the barber is right across the street, a real barber shop! @Trend Blendz Barbershop

Tiji you knew you had booked with a barber that’s learning. If you wanted an experienced barber you should’ve booked with one of the others available. <br><br>The experience of the barbers is pretty obvious on the site. You booked with a Jr. barber who charges $30. The other barbers are $50-60 who aren’t labeled a Jr. If you’re very particular about your haircut, do your due diligence and call before booking.

Staff seemed friendly! Came in for a full head and face shave by straight edge. I don't remember my barbers name but he did a fairly good job. I did notice that he only used the straight razor partially, then finished off with a foil razor. The hot towel service did not provide the heat I was expecting. Overall definitely worth a visit. Price was reasonable too.

Ivana did an amazing job on my skin fade! She was super detail oriented and really took her time to make sure every line and blend was perfect. You can tell she takes pride in her craft because the fade came out clean, sharp, and smooth from top to bottom. I really appreciate the precision and care she put into it. Easily one of the best cuts I’ve had. Highly recommend her if you’re looking for a barber who pays attention to every detail.

Edit 3: threatening to sue me. Edit: I had the displeasure of calling them as they requested. They denied a refund. Raised their voice, talked over me and blamed me for their actions. They told me I should’ve given them a second chance. Frankly, I don’t see that to be the case. I understand they don’t want negative reviews. The only way they’d give me a refund is if I permanently deleted the review. I’ve decided if I can spare other people the experience of coming here, it’s worth losing my 60 bucks. (Edit from 2 stars to 1). I will not be coerced and yelled at into removing a review. Seriously?! You want to yell at your customers? That’s wild. Genuinely I’m in shock. Never have I experience this type of treatment, when they failed me. Any other barber shop would not have messed up this poorly to begin with. Any other business would’ve apologized in my review and sent a refund. No questions asked. Especially when they are at fault. Then perhaps they get a second chance. By all means I understand their frustration, but it’s not my fault they can’t cut hair. Original review: I asked for an inch to inch and a half off initially. Then my barber asked if I wanted it down to an inch and a half. I didn’t really care, bring that it’s hot out, and I expressed my lack of care. I’m not too picky. However, it was taken to below an inch. This alone wouldn’t have made me write a negative review, but there are so many missed hairs. For a 50 dollar haircut, I expect more attention to detail. I left 2 stars because I could’ve spoken up, but this level of carelessness is not what I expected.
