Kiersten always manages to create a really professional, on trend haircut from the mess I walk in with. I'm guilty of getting busy, and waiting too long in between hair cuts and then I end up taking scissors to it, myself, at 2 in the morning, followed by immediate regret, and me frantically booking for her next for available appointment.

In the words of my 5 year old Kyri “was pretty much the funnest haircut person he’s ever met”. His hair looks good too! We aren’t necessarily loyalist to any particular barber. I usually book a haircut when my kid starts to look shaggy at whichever shop can get him in. We have been to this location a few times and his haircuts have been good, but tonight we got Kyri and we will be booking with her from now on. My little one is very chatty and a bit over active. Kyri engaged in conversation with him the entire time, made a game out of holding the comb with his chin and even had fidget for him. She did a better job of making the experience fun than the places that specialize in kids cuts (yknow the one where your kid sits in airplane, they charge you $35 and they do a hack job). It’s super refreshing to meet someone who enjoys what they do and does a good job.

I had to sleep on this one. I get my haircut here every 2 months for the past 3 years+ years. I also take my son (6) to get haircuts here at the same intervals. My daughter (3) wanted to get a "haircut" to allow her hair to grow long like Rapunzel. I booked a bang appointment (10 minutes long) at the same time as my son's appointment. I got there and two women asked me what I wanted to do with my daughter's hair, I said we did not really need a haircut and if they could just clip some stuff off the tips. The two women at the front said well that is not a "bang" appointment and they would have to reschedule me for a regular haircut. I then leaned in and asked if someone can just pretend to give her a haircut and I would pay for the normal haircut price. They then brought in a large male who I tried to explain the situation to again and he said: "we cannot give you a pretend haircut that you pay for because then you could sue us for not giving a haircut you paid for". All of this proceeded to make my daughter cry. She held it in the entire time we were waiting for her brothers haircut. Someone who worked there tried to salvage this horrible situation by giving us her own popper toy. She was very nice for this but this small gesture didn't make up for the situation. My daughter was so sad that she could not get a haircut. It took us 15 minutes to get from the store back to our car because she was so upset and crying outside. Overall, I cannot understand why anyone could not even give a pretend haircut that I am still paying for or try to be accommodating in any way? Besides one of their employees going over and above. If I bought a haircut and just sat there and asked you to comb my hair would you refuse that service as well? This is the closest I have ever come to boycotting any business.

I took my 10 yr old son with long thick rocker hair down to his waist in for a cut. This was his first professional hair cut and he was quite nervous. We were fortunate enough to get Lindsey. She was so wonderful with him, and you could tell she was excited to do this haircut. So pleased with our experience!

Q is my barber, and one of the best I know around this area. I highly recommend him for razor fades and normal fades. He’s quick smooth and his work show his top quality and he definitely knows what he’s doing.

I have been getting my hair cut and beard trimmed by Q for the past 3 years and last night after getting what was my 65th haircut/beard trim (per the Floyd’s app😎) i realized that a review was long overdue. What I tell everyone who compliments my hair cut is that they can get a phenomenal cut as well from Q at Floyds 99 off Union too! I received compliments on my cut from 4 different people today, which is probably lower than usual but i would like to say that if 4 is on the lower end and I’ve had 65 haircuts over the past 3 years…. Then math would say my review must be worth at least a million positive reviews. GO GET YOUR HAIR DONE AT FLOYDS 99 OFF UNION. Ask for Q, and I promise you wont be disappointed.

The team at this shop is incredibly talented. Kyri was my stylist on my most recent visit, and I couldn't be happier with the results. She's not only exceptionally skilled with her craft, but also has a great personality that makes the whole experience enjoyable. I came in without a clear vision of what I wanted, and she took the time to understand my style and give me a cut that exceeded my expectations.
