I don’t normally post reviews unless they go sideways. I showed a picture to the woman cutting my hair and told her the numbers I get (4 on the sides with 1 on the back square cut) she immediately told me “no that will not work, I’ll just tell you what to do.” She said she would do her best “to cover up the mistakes of my genetics”. She didn’t do the back of my neck correctly, she said “I just wouldn’t do that because it will look really bleh”. Then she said men need to be more open to change especially when they have bad haircuts and I didn’t get anything I asked for. I cannot make this up with how weird of an experience this was. I’ve never had anyone talk to me like that before and now I have a haircut that I did not ask for since everything I asked for was insulted or told it’s wrong. Once again I have a crew cut and have been to Floyd’s 25 plus times and never had any of this happen.

I went here to get a Textured Mullet and my barber screwed up so bad by barely fading my sides even though I gave him clear instructions with an image and he still messed it up. I feel ungrateful for the price I paid for the poor quality of the cut I just got. I really hope no one ever experiences. I'm never coming back to his barbershop.

If you’re looking for a friendly, professional, chill barber to give you a top quality fade or any other men’s style, you’ve gotta book with DAVID! He is the man in every sense of the word. Always a pleasure to come in for a fresh cut with him, and the atmosphere of the entire shop is very relaxing & enjoyable. Good tunes, good vibes, and amazing service.

I have been to many different Floyd's but this location stands out as one of the best. Everyone was welcoming and worked together to get through a busy Sunday. My stylist did an amazing job with my haircut and I will definitely be going back to see her. The location is clean, friendly, had great options for scheduling. I recommend this location.

Was a great experience! From picking whom I thought would provide the best style, to the products she used, to the end result and discussions both on topic of hair and other. I'd highly recommend giving Floyd's DTC location a shot!

Rhea is an absolute miracle worker! Went in with hair that hadn't seen scissors for a whole year, she did a magnificent colour and cut, and I left the shop with an entirely new hairstyle! To say she did a fantastic job is an understatement

This is a wonderful location with a chill atmosphere in the DTC area. I work with Lyndsie and she is absolutely amazing! I feel so confident that I am getting the best service imaginable and quality hair care advice. I've been coming repeatedly to this location because the team is awsome and my hair always looks stunning when I get out of Lyndsie's chair. This Floyd's 99 barbershop is absolutely perfect and I will continue returning time and time again.

My first two experiences here were stellar, however the stylist that I used to go to at this location has since moved on. I decided to go back recently to get a mid length cut and shampoo, and my experience was atrocious to say the least. I scheduled an appointment with Jaclyn G. as I heard she did well with curly hair. At the appointment, I asked her if I could get layering and my neck line cut. I ended up leaving the store $55 lighter with one of the most uneven and poorly executed hair cuts I have ever received (see attached photos). The layering was extremely uneven and non-existent in several spots. Additionally, my neck line was completely uneven, and had tons of baby hairs that could have easily been removed if a little more care was taken. I was expecting a solid haircut for the price, but when I got here, I did not even get the bare minimum. I will not be going back to this location, especially not to Jaclyn G.
