I came in and saw Louis. I told him I was growing my hair out and I just wanted it cleaned up. He took more than half the length off! More than 6 months of growing it out! He had my back turned to the mirror the entire time so I couldn’t see what was going on. I’ve had a good experience with these guys in the past and may try them again, as the general manager was very nice to me and gave me a refund, but this is just not acceptable.

I first visited Spruce barbershop 5 years ago when I wanted a more androgynous hair style. Christian consistently gave me the best haircut of my life. He always had great advice on what he thought would look best and his line work was very clean. I am now growing my hair out and don't get it cut often, but Spruce is the only place I recommend!

I feel so lucky to have moved to Denver 3 years ago and immediately find my go to barber. Brittany is a skin fade GEM! Been coming here for her cuts ever since I moved, and I don’t ever want my hair cut by anyone else! Would recommend Spruce to anyone wanting a fresh cut that looks GREAT. Especially with Brittany at the helm!

Spruce Barbershop is a fantastic shop. Good environment, good area, good value. Jennifer Ramsay cut my hair and trimmed my beard prior to a big event and I received so many compliments. Jennifer is the best and a true professional. I won’t have anyone touching my hair other than her.

I am new to Spruce which is a cool place with decent vibes but I have been with my stylist for 8+ years who is now here. Jennifer R. is amazing and I have followed her because she is. Professional, funny and incredibly talented in cutting my hair!! Good place and great stylist - perfect combo! A boy couldn't ask for more ;-)

Spruce Barbershop has a fantastic atmosphere. Sarah, in particular, did an amazing job. She was attentive, professional and perfectly understood what I wanted. She made the entire experience seamless and I left feeling great. I highly recommend this place.

Had the worst experience with Ray. 1.) She was 15 minutes late for the appointment 2.) For the haircut I asked for “2 buzzer on the sides and a 1/2 inch off the top” she said “You have 2.5 inches on top, how about 1 inch off to top?” I said ok, she proceeded to take 2”+ off the top 3.) she used a buzzer on the TOP of my head 4.) the haircut is entirely too short, completely uneven and I walked out with what looks like a uneven military buzzcut - COMPLETELY different hairstyle than what I walked in with 5.) The MINIMUM tip on her register is 25% which only adds insult to injury for such an awful experience and haircut …Came to around $60 after Ray’s self serving 25% tip. How does this even happen?
