Dayna did an incredible job with my son's haircut before his college interviews. What I thought would be a simple appointment turned into a bit of a challenge between the two of us —we were trying to find a style that he felt confident in and that I felt was appropriate for meeting with admissions staff (yes, I know... I probably sounded like a very controlling mom (e). Walking in and talking with Dayna was such a relief. She listened thoughtfully to both of us and somehow managed to create a style that my son genuinely loves while also putting this anxious mama completely at ease. The result looks fantastic —polished, natural, and perfect for his interviews. I'm so excited for him to walk into those meetings feeling confident, and a big part of that is thanks to Dayna. His hair looks great. I'm already sending my husband in next, and I'll absolutely be recommending Dayna to everyone | know. 11/10 stars!

WARNING: I find it hard to believe that many of these reviews are real given my recent experience. I CANNOT recommend this place at all. Despite what the website says, it was not cozy or a ritual or nostalgic. Not even close. Walking in the door I was struck by the fact that the place just felt completely disheveled. It is just a weird strip mall space with some chairs thrown in it. No vibe at all. My barber cut my hair like the place was on fire. I was in the chair less than 10 minutes. During that time she said maybe 5 words to me in total. This appears to be consistent behavior from what I saw of the other 2 barbers working there. Adding insult to injury, when you pay, the lowest amount you can tip is 25%. Nope!

This is an exceptional business. Dayna is truly outstanding—I have been a client for five years and would not consider going elsewhere. The space is beautiful, modern, and impeccably maintained, creating a welcoming environment. Every interaction with the staff reflects a high level of professionalism and pride in their work. I highly recommend this business.

My cut was ok. But the salon itself was BAD. Not relaxing at all. There was a month old football game on one TV, an interview TV program on another TV and loud music. My barber had his AirPod in throughout the cut, I’m sure to avoid all the unnecessary noise. The barber chair was small, and didn’t lean back when my barber took care of my beard. Halfway through the cut, the “manager” started banging on the back door telling the other barber he had to wake up. He proceeded to come out and make very loud wake up noises for the next 20 minutes. The cut was ok. The vibe of the salon was awful. It was in no way an “escape”. This was a worse environment than Great Clips, and a similar cut for way too much money. I recommend you stay away.

Best barber in Denver is Savey!! Savey has been cutting my hair for over a year now and I’ve never been disappointed. He is very talented and can tailor any cut to your liking. I highly recommend him to meet your needs! Men’s Escape Barbershop is also in a great location and looks very nice in the interior as well with all the amenities you may need.

Not sure how I haven’t ever left a review! Michael’s been helping me out for what, 2 years maybe? He’s quick, he’s great, and he is perfect for someone like me that doesn’t really know how to direct him or how I exactly like it, yet he still can just make it look consistently good. I appreciate him a ton!

I didn’t realize how much I missed having a real barbershop experience until I came here. The moment I walked in, I knew I was in good hands. The shop is clean, the vibe is calm, and the cut? Easily one of the best I’ve ever had. They took their time, made sure every detail was perfect, and didn’t rush me out the door. This place reminded me why I used to love getting my haircut.

Michael is the best! Everything you can ask for. Really nice environment, extremely clean, and complimentary espresso, cookies, candy and drinks for when you get there! Easily book your appointment on their website and they’ll reserve your spot so there’s no wait at all. Very happy to have found a reliable and great barber in Denver.
