I love Hollywood barbershop! I go to Shellie. She’s rad! She cuts my hair and coaches me. I also watch Jared and James work when I’m there and they’re both crazy good!

Sat for an hour to get my kids hair cut. No one acknowledged us. Not the first time. Sad cause I remember my uncle and grandpa bringing me as a kid. Shitty customer service now

Good shop depending on your barber. The owner is a really great barber, but the younger guys do not have the same professionalism. One thing I noticed whenever I go, my face breaks out after (I think because some guys do not clean their clippers enough). Additionally the price for a cut is higher relative to other shops (inflation and other causes but still suck).

We were a walk in, the barber was super cool and the vibe was chill. The hair cut was sub par by all means. When we get back home we will have go to our normal barber and get it corrected. It did help get the hair out of son’s face for our vacation week.

I have been traveling from Highlands Ranch to Hollywood Barbers since 2012 to get my son's hair cut. They offer a friendly comfortable atmosphere, easy-going barbers, and they support the community they have been present in for decades. They give back, offering free haircuts at the beginning of the school year so kids can feel good and confident for the first day of school. They do other community functions like sponsoring families for the holidays making sure kids have presents to open on Christmas or serving a warm meal. There are times when I have come for my appointment and they are feeding patrons in the barbershop just because. The owner, Mike is very professional and gives a warm welcome to all entering the establishment. He's a strong male figure and has no problem talking to the young boys. Shellie, my current is the only female working in the barbershop. She has been my barber since she joined the team. She has given me guidance on keeping my hair the best it can be. She is constantly upping her game doing new things like steam treatments and Scalp Micropigmentation. The most important thing about the barbershop, they don't discriminate. All races, religions, genders, and economic statuses (rich, poor, and anywhere in between) are welcome without judgment. The ONLY requirement is to be respectful. Recently, the shop has received bad press because of a resident living above the barbershop. Don't judge them based on something they can't control - freedom of speech. Practice peace and understanding. Millions of mental health situations are undiagnosed.

I've gotten my hair cut here a few times. They always take a lot of care and listen closely to what I'm looking for. Nice conversation too! The owners hate what's going on upstairs but they don't have direct control over it. So don't punish them with bad reviews; they're victims of the notsee too.

As a black man whose father is a barber, I struggled to find consistency and skill when I moved to Denver. James Muhammad gets me right every time! I’ve gone to him for almost 4 years consistently! The shop also has a cool, old school atmosphere. Check it out!

Hollywood's Barber Shop is an exceptional place to get a haircut. The owner, Mike, is an incredibly skilled barber who pays attention to detail and always takes his time to ensure that his customers leave looking their best. I don't mind traveling an hour away to have him cut my hair because the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of service you receive. The barber shop itself is well-organized, and the staff is friendly. The waiting area is spacious, so you never feel cramped or crowded. Plus, the atmosphere is always lively, with great music playing in the background. They play a mix of old-school, R&B, and other genres, so there's something for everyone to enjoy. What I love most about this place is its location. It's located in a multicultural area with numerous bars, eateries, and a gym, all within walking distance and just 5-10 minutes from downtown Denver. You can easily make a day of it by grabbing lunch or a drink after your haircut. The whole experience is always pleasant, and I highly recommend Hollywood's Barber Shop to anyone looking for a great haircut and a good time.

I’ve been going to Hollywood’s for a couple of years and it’s been a great experience. Super clean atmosphere with good music and great culture. X respects appointments and is always on time. I just took my 4 year for the 1st time and he didn’t want to leave.

Went there on the fly to get my son a haircut. Mike the owner cut my son's hair. Although he prefers appointments, he definitely was really cool and still cut his hair. He did a great job on my son's hair. Went from long to short. No nips or cuts when getting cut and the shop was super clean. Did I mention the music in the shop gave all the vibes!! 🖤
