I have mixed feelings about this place, last haircut I got was legitimately the best haircut I've ever had in my life, but this most recent one was incredibly way too short despite me asking for a specific length, I guess it depends on who you get here

Fabian is an amazing barber!! I brought my brother in for a Floyd's cut and he totally transformed my brother's look. Fabian really curated my brother's haircut to his face shape and needs. Fabian is detailed, attentive, and very talented. My brother's hair has never looked better. I can't thank you enough, Fabian!!! I'll definitely send my brother your way for another cut!

Amazing service, haircut and beard trim! The assistant manager is the best barber in Colorado. Hand done no doubt about it! I highly recommend coming to this Floyd's shop in Lakewood!

Was here a few weeks ago and the haircut I had asked for was nothing close to that. It has been before, and the person I got my haircut was highly inappropriate and unprofessional. The barbershop is a place to talk but not about just any topic… This location and a few other locations I have been to have had some employees who are not so professional with what they talk about. I guess I get what I pay for when the price is too good to be true. If I were able to make this a zero star I would. I was recommended by friends to go to Floyd’s and each time and every Floyd’s I have been to has been a very strange experience.

Ashia did an outstanding job on my haircut. She was attentive, detailed, and clearly takes pride in her work. The skin/razor fade came out clean and precise, exactly what I was hoping for. On top of that, she was kind and made the whole experience genuinely enjoyable. Highly recommend booking with her.

EDIT: I was issued a full refund after further discussion with the team at Floyd's and I went to another Floyd's 99 location (one actually closer to my home) and got a fresh cut there that has me feeling 1000% better about my hair. I'm much happier now. Leaving my review below intact but I'll give this caveat to it as well - the Floyd's 99 team members I've interacted with since have all been helpful and understanding and if I'd stood up for myself or been more firm in the moment, I likely would have been less bewildered. I'm feeling a little bewildered. I booked and paid for a full service cut because online it says that is ideal for longer hair, which I have, and included a cut, shampoo, and blow dry style. My stylist, whose name i did not get, started by dry cutting my hair, then spritzing and cutting. I brought up that I was expecting a shampoo and my stylist stated they didn't even know what I'd booked. After cutting, my stylist washed my hair and said I was done. So, not wanting to be a pain, I went up and paid and left. With dripping wet hair. The cut did initially look fine dry so I'm not upset about that really I'm just... bewildered that my stylist was not told the services I booked, my stylist didn't go to confirm after I brought up I was expecting something different, and when I went to pay I was charged for a service that included blow dry when I very obviously still had wet hair. Bewildered. Y'know, I'm just gonna throw this in here. I don't have the best hair care routine and I COULD Have been upsold on shampoo and conditioner or at LEAST a hair mask and I wasn't. In hindsight I feel less bewildered and more neglected/dismissed.

You’re right to expect that a full service cut includes everything listed when you book, and that your stylist would both know what was scheduled and confirm it with you once you raised the concern. Leaving with dripping wet hair after paying for a service that includes a blow dry, and feeling overlooked instead of cared for, is not the experience we want anyone to have. Just got hacked up at Floyd's 99. This is a tough review to write as I know the owners and they are awesome! I called in and explained what I needed. Asked for a stylist and was recommended one. I switched my appointment and canceled another location after speaking with the girl at the front desk and her explaining to me the stylist and her expertise. I know the difference between barber and stylist and have taken my boys to Floyd's for years. The girl that cut my hair and was expected to use a hot flat iron (I asked numerous times as I've never really seen this done when I've taken my boys for a cut). And was assured she had the tools and experience. We'll the women cutting my hair told me she's never used a flat iron in her life. And she cuts hair. They switched me to another stylist. And her exact comments was it's too short on the sides. I said I know she just hacked my hair up. This location is no longer a Floyd's in my humble opinion. It's another Super Cuts! Good luck out there but do not believe them if they say you're getting a stylist. Not sure what that even means when the person doesn't even know what a hair straightener tool is. I'm writing this as it's not okay and others should know that unfortunately this location is not the one I'd go to. I'm assuming the other locations are on par!

I decided to try a new haircut joint a few years ago because the one I was using had changed their website and dropped my appointment, when I rescheduled the hairstylist cancelled it at the last second without telling me. Luckily I found Floyd’s, it took a few hairstylists before I found Kyri, I don’t think my cut is overly difficult, but the lack of attention to detail in the profession from a large portion of hairstylists is alarming. Anyway Kyri has always done a great job, she is super friendly and I have never been disappointed which is why I always look forward to getting my haircut with her specifically. Thank again for the fantastic service Kyri, keep up the great work.

Booked an appointment for yesterday with "any stylist". Showed up on time. Front desk asked me to have a seat. Sat for 30 minutes past my appointment time and watched all barbers free up, yet no one tapped me to do the cut, nor even stopped by to tell me I was up next, etc. I walked out and went down the street to Faded and they happily took my money. Between that, and the stupid prices for a buzz cut ($42 after tip is nuts for a 10 minute buzz). Faded was 30 all in. Won't be returning to Floyds.

I was fortunate to have Donnie R as a barber for my hair twice. He gave a phenomenal cut both times that turned heads. I have dreads, and he was able to cut my hair that matched my facial structure and hair style. He greated me with a smile, great conversation, and made me feel comfortable throughout both appointments. Amazing experience!
