Kind and welcoming team always no matter who is working. Short wait times. Reasonable prices compared to other barbers in the area who are charging $50+ for a simple men’s cut

Belinda was a very nice lady that asked me every question about how I wanted my haircut and she executed it perfectly. If you want a mullet I would recommend her. The place overall is very welcoming and I will go there again when I’m Denver

I booked with Brian because his bio highlights extensive color experience. He was very nice but his professionalism fell short. My hair never has a hard timing lifting but this time my highlights did not lift to the correct level, and the result was warm and orange. I specifically said I did not want warm tones (when the goal was to freshen up my ash blond streaks).Yet the result was exactly that. When a customer clearly states what they don’t want and the outcome is the opposite, it shows that the request was not respected — and that is incredibly frustrating. There were several other things that went wrong, but there’s no point getting into it — they added to the overall disappointment. My scalp also burned during the process, which has never happened with previous color services at Floyd’s. Brian said he would include a light trim at no cost, but no scissors were used and no dead ends were removed. When I asked about it afterward, I was told it had already been done, which was not true. He mentioned he would follow up the next day to check on the result, but I never received a call. Although he offered to fix the color at no charge, I do not feel confident about his ability to correct the problem or the damage. This service was expensive, and I now have to pay another stylist to repair the color. The appointment also wasted my time, as the promised services were not delivered. The work did not meet the expectations I’ve had from Floyd’s in the past, and I do not recommend this stylist. That said, the Floyd’s location itself has been solid, and the front desk staff is professional.

Tammy is the best. She is the reason I keep coming back here, I usually just show her some pics of the haircut I want and she always nails it, she’s super friendly and one of the best barbers you’ll find in Denver. I would highly recommend booking with Tammy here.

My husband came in for a simple clean up cut a few days ago, clean up the back and sides and take some off the top, he ended up with a horrible cut not even close to what he asked for. The stylist even said i know we v were going for this but i cid this instead..He said that the stylist seemed to not care about anything and didnt want to be at work that day clearly. Angel just cut the bottom all the way to skin and left the top very long, the back is awful and the top is completely uneven and chopped he cut a line in one of my husbands side burns and said Nothing. It looks as though no time was taken. Big bummer waste of time and money.

Tammy is an absolutely amazing stylist. She's the only reason why I come back to this Floyd's. If it weren't for her, I'd never come back to this location because of the other employees that work there total lack of respect for others. I have a strong fear of dogs and your employees had two dogs at the salon when I went there on Sunday. They were unleashed, non-service animals that wandered freely on the floor. I know a service animal when I see one and the dog that approached me almost got kicked in the jaw. I cannot stop my internal fight or flight when I'm around dogs. The dog snuck up on me so well that I was almost unable to control my actions. If you check the cameras, you'll notice I jerked my leg in the dogs direction before I took a step away. In a place that's expected to have only humans, I think it's awful that you guys let your employees bring dogs into the salon. Moving forward, I will have to call the day of my appointments to verify if there is a dog in the building. I expect to be excluded from cancellation policy's rigors if there is a dog on premises. I do not consent to be around dogs when I'm in a place that is usually dog-free. Personally, I would like a partial or total refund for my services on Sunday because there were dirty animals on the premises, but that's not likely to happen. :( Also, one of the dogs was a puppy. Service or emotional support animal aside, no puppy qualifies for either of those roles in the state of CO. When it comes to service animals, a business is allowed to ask two questions: 1. Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? 2. What work or task has the dog been trained to perform? Refusal to answer or "emotional support" give the business the right to refuse the animal on premises. Furthermore, service animals are required to be on a leash via collar or harness *unless* the person is *physically unable to carry a leash.* Everyone in the building had function of both hands and no dog was on a leash. A service dog will *never* lift more than two paws off the ground, approach someone other than their owner (except in an emergency situation), nor bark. An animal doing any of these 3 things also gives the business the right to kick the person and animal off the premises.

Called in and booked a haircut with a barber. Came in and sat for 20 minutes past the time they quoted me. Then the front desk lady walked over and said the barber doesn’t cut “afro-style hair” aka black people. I’m not insinuating racism here, but it’s bad service. If you have a barber that doesn’t cut black peoples hair, maybe get barbers that do or ask when booking the appointment. It was a waste of time and honestly kind of uncomfortable. The lady at the front tried to get me to come back the next day to see a different barber but I declined. Didn’t offer me a discount or anything. Find somewhere else to get your haircut. Lots of other places for similar prices.

Made a day of appointment for my 10 yr old. He wasn’t sure what he was exactly looking for & hesitant to speak up. Heather was amazing! She answered every question he had and went aboye and beyond to make sure he liked his haircut. We will definitely book with her again!!

Lovely Floyd’s location. I decided to get a nice haircut from here. Loved the music, the cleanliness of the salon, and the lovely hair stylists and staff, especially Anna! Convenient location on Colfax as well. Highly recommend this place, love my haircut!
