Gene is the best barber in Brighton and probably the whole world in my opinion 🙂 I started going to Gene's from 6 years old for 25 years, quick, friendly, pro old school barber, best fade in town. Really miss going to Gene's, I'd drive an hour to go even when I moved to Boulder. Ed was great too!

My husband is the one who goes here but he’s the only barber in Brighton he likes. I’ve spoke over the phone with Gene and he’s a great guy. Very kind and professional. I love all the haircuts my husband comes home with.

Make an appt, as they work primarily by appt, which is good, just don't try walking in, as you may have to wait a long time. Great haircut though. Went there again this week (8/15/23), and another great haircut by Gene himself, definitely recommend.

Took my boys here and I am impressed!!! When you walk in there's an old school feel to it. The classic barber chairs are super unique and brings back memories. Gene was very kind and gentle to my goblins. He listened to what they wanted and checked in for approval often. We will return for more services. Thank you Gene 😊 for your 47 years of amazing services to our community. You're one of a kind.

My friend Matt Reps recommended Gene’s Barbershop awhile ago. So yesterday I wanted to get a haircut from an old school barber so I called Gene’s and set up my appointment for yesterday morning. Matt Unrein Gene’s son cut my hair with precision and care. He was gentle and attentive to what style I wanted and took his time. I had the best fade I’ve ever had and so clean. The price was reasonable and I would be back and don’t feel the need to go anywhere else. Great three generations Brighton establishment. Rolly A

So today was my first time in this shop and was vary excited to see the old style barbershop. Did not catch the guys name but he was vary polite and focused on me as a customer and what I wanted to have done. Will definitely be returning.

Best haircut I've ever had!!! Walked in at 1pm and Matt got me in right away. Very competitve pricing, I won't go anywhere else if I can help it. Haircut and beard trim looks amazing.

Nice small town barber shop. Gene's a super nice guy and so is his son Matt. They both know their business and you cant go wrong with either. Prices are decent especially considering they dont rush to get you out of the chair for other customers. Give em a try.

I am a picky person when it comes to getting my haircut. Gene did a very thorough job and my fade is very clean. I like the strait razor finish around the ears and neck. Plus he did a great job cleaning the loose hairs out of my hair.
