I got a bang trim and a trim on the rest of my hair. I asked the stylist to cut basically curtain bangs, showed her an inspiration picture. She hardly cut my bangs and so I asked for more and she did the tiniest bit more. I decided to sleep on it. The next day, I go in to get more taken off and Tory (I think her name was) cut my bangs but did a horrible job. The right side is cut way too far back onto my head. There are uneven bits and it’s choppy. I think their clientele leans more male so the stylists don’t have practice on long hair or styles. I’m unhappy but there’s no way to fix my bangs at this point. I should have stuck with my first haircut. So much regret! They were friendly and accommodating, just didn’t do a good job unfortunately. I’ve been coming to Floyd’s for years but I think this was my last trip :(

So having a regular barber/hairdresser is very important to me. As of late, I haven’t had that luxury, and it’s been stressful. Now in the past, I’ve gone to Floyd’s and got my haircut by playing the barber lottery, as I call it. And unfortunately, I didn’t have a good experience any of those times. However, my hair was getting out of control again, and I really needed to get it cut, so I took a peek at the Floyd’s app the other day, and I observed that there was stylist’s with the word HEADLINER next to their name. Upon further research, I found out that those certain individuals had gained that status due in part for their reviews, and the amount of business that they bring to their Floyd’s establishment. After reading through the headliners at this particular location, I ultimately chose Ali S. at the 53rd and Wadsworth location in Arvada, CO. She did absolutely amazing. I truly couldn’t be any happier. Now I have my regular barber/hairdresser back for the foreseeable future and I couldn’t be more pleased and excited. If this resonates well with you, then please do yourself a favor and go and get your haircut by Ali! :)

I'm always nervous getting a haircut after a couple of horrible experiences, but my search for a stylist is finally over after finding Yazmin at Floyd's on w 53rd. She is welcoming, friendly, attentive and a great stylist. She listened to my mash of ideas and saw my mess of hair, and she crushed it. I love the cut, love the style (exactly what I wanted) and she just made the experience awesome. I will no longer wait for 2 years between cuts anymore. Thanks Yazmin!!!!!

The service at this location is consistently great, welcoming, and accommodating, even when I’m running late. I’ve been letting the hairstylists do their own thing and enjoy seeing their creative ideas. This time, I got the best haircut I’ve ever had. She did an incredible job, and I couldn’t be happier!

Lorie and Megan are the dynamic duo! I was in and out in 20 minutes the other day with an awesome haircut! I also got couple other services done including a nose wax, which was a first for me. Nobody was rushed, everybody was beyond professional, I will certainly be back!

The staff were very friendly and my barber was very sweet, but the haircut didn’t match the photo I showed or the price I paid. The cut felt rushed with minimal attention to detail , my neck wasn’t cleaned up even after asking, and I had to fix it myself at home. While the attempt was clear, the result fell short of what I expected.

Great name chain salon. But did not get a neck shave. And the simplest back massage. Not a great visit. Especially with your pricing for a men's haircut trim.

I scheduled an appointment for an undercut/pixie with Yasmin. We talked at length about what I wanted and then literally her first cut went against everything we talked about. I stopped her and talked again about what I wanted and she started again. By the end of the cut she had done nearly everything wrong, the undercut was not even close to symmetrical, the top had been shortened drastically, which I had asked that she not do and cut in a straight line. I had repeatedly expressed that I didn’t want it to look like a bowl cut, and the back was completely lopsided. I didn’t want her to keep cutting so I said it was fine, paid and left. When I got home my partner took one look and said he could have done a better job. I set an appointment with Lorie the manager for the next day, we talked about how there was no going back to what I originally wanted and that she would try to fix it, that it might take several sessions… So much for saving money from my normal stylist. Again I got home trying not to cry over the full on bowl cut I now had on my head… That was still lopsided. I decided O just needed to go back to my old stylist and suck it up and pay the higher price. When I called about getting a refund I was told the manager would be in at noon and give me a call at that time. Hours later I reached back out and politely said, I’m still really upset about the haircut, I know we said it would take a couple of sessions to get it back to where it was but I’d really just like a refund to go back to my original girl. She responded fine and then hung up on me. I had to call back and talk to someone else to find out that the refund was being processed. I was going to let it slide without a review until being hung up on. I guess if you are a woman looking for a pixie, do your research and don’t go to either of these stylists.

I love that Ali listens to me and guides my wants and desires for my haircut. Remembers my preferences every time even if it’s been a few months. I always feel great leaving the shop afterwards. The lotion tingling my neck soothing it after the straight razor. From walking in to walking out the experience is friendly, welcoming and relaxing.

Usually have good experiences at other Floyd’s locations. Came in at 5:30PM today. This location was definitely an exception. Stylist did not ask if I wanted my hair tapered up to my hard part, and instead began by carving a 3 all the way up to the hard part. By the time she did the first cut, that decision was made for me. Also, I now have a large obvious chunk that she cut out of my hairline. Nice staff I guess but terrible haircut.
