Absolutely love my barbershop. I’ve been coming here for years and I hope I never have to go anywhere else. It’s always a hit and never a miss. They offer me beer or a water every time and an occasional shot with the crew is a perfect way to end my service. Thank you guys for everything, best barbershop in Whittier.

First time at this barber shop and guys welcomed me right in. The vibe is great , clean shop, kid friendly, Dave did an awesome job with my Hair . Definitely will be coming back.

Just had my second cut at American Vintage Barbershop in Uptown Whittier and I gotta say… this place is a problem in the best way 😂 So the first time I came in, I booked with Eric. Dude killed it. Super clean cut, knew exactly what I was going for. Naturally, I booked again with him. But today, he wasn’t in, so one of his coworker Dave stepped in. And now here’s my dilemma: they’re BOTH amazing. Like seriously… when’s the last time you went to a barbershop and had two-for-two solid experiences? Usually there’s that one guy who’s just okay but nope, not here. These guys are pros. If you’re looking for a chill, friendly, appointment-based shop where the vibes are right (TV on, cold beverage in hand, great convo or just kick back), this is the spot. Easily the number one barbershop in Whittier. Now excuse me while I flip a coin to decide who cuts my hair next time 😅✂️

This Barbershop is the best in town. All the Barbers have the skill and experience. The vibe is always positive and a good place to disconnect from the “real world”. Eric is my go to barber and has been for the last year. Thank you AVB

This is best barbershop ever! I take boys here and they get the best hair cuts every time. We go to Erick and he is totally the best. My kids always ask for crazy cuts and he totally pulls it off.

I’ve been taking my boys to American Barber Shop in Whittier and I couldn’t be happier with their service. They’re very accommodating with last minute appointments. Erick is awesome, my kids feel very comfortable with him. I always recommend them to my friends and family.

This is a great place to get your haircut. I haven't been to the Barber in a long time and decided to try this place. Make sure you have an appointment though. Andrew was able to give me the hair style I was looking for and made sure I was comfortable. I will definitely be going back.

This is a nice spot to get a fresh cut. They treat their customers right something other barbers don't do. These guys truly do work hard for their money and deserve a tip. My barber, Mateo, Keep up the good work man!

Best neighborhood barbershop I've ever been to. While other nice shops are charging $40+ for a haircut, these guys charge $25 and outperform the rest. Angel has been cutting my hair for 2 years now. I moved to San Diego and still come back because nobody cuts my hair as he can. Super chill spot that offers you water or a beer while you wait.
