Terrible haircut and unpleasant experience. The man who cut my hair talked a lot like he had experience, just to end up ruining my hair and it looks ridiculous. They’re not being transparent about the price as well. They advertise as $13 but then charge you $14 just for a basic fading that they can’t even do properly. Do not recommend. Scam!

Great hidden gem!!! 1000000% recommend. Clean little family run barber shop doing affordable, stylish cuts. My boyfriend won't go anywhere else now (and I'm soooo glad) Sometimes busy on Saturdays, but honestly it's never a long wait. All the barbers are quick and do great work. They all seem to be really good with kids cuts as well. My bf has been going consistently to PJ (at the farthest back chair) for a over a year now, and OMGoooosh he does a wonderful job. Very friendly, funny and top notch cuts. I tag along every once in a while & and can't believe he does such a professional cut so quickly. PJ remembers what style my bf prefers, is super interactive while doing incredible work. My bf always looks amazing after a visit to PJ and is always pleased with the service. And the prices can't be beat!!! I highly recommend a visit to this shop (especially PJ) to any guy looking for a fast, affordable, great looking cut.

I was looking for a new barber near my new place, and I found this amazing shop! The prices are great and the cut is better!!! The place is old school but cool. I always walk straight to PJ at the back, he is fantastic and personable. By the time I leave, I am clean-cut and laughing! I don't even have to tell him the cut I want, he remembers and goes to work! You won't believe how good the cut is for the price!

Date / time of visit: 2024-09-23 around 2:00 PM (a Monday) Wait time: 0 mins Type of haircut: simple trim (faded, cuz I spike my hair like any respectable Asian) Duration of haircut: approx. 20 mins My hair: straight Asian hair that is thinning as the years go by Cost: $14.00 + $5.00 tip Despite the negative reviews, I went here anyway because I can't justify spending so much money to cut hair I barely have any more. I called them and confirmed the prices in the pictures. So... While every place in the Long Beach / OC area is charging at least $25.00 (and some as high as $50) for a men's haircut, this mom 'n' pop place is charging $14.00. The place was empty with three barbers on duty. I tried to engage my barber (didn't get his name) in conversation but he wasn't much of a talker. But I, myself, am not usually a talker so it's all good. Plus, I'm not there to converse and chat. I came and got what I wanted and in a very respectable amount of time. I am happy with the outcome. I got the same look I've had for the past 10-15 years and at the price of a haircut from 10-15 years ago. NOTE: they only accept cash, which they informed me when I called before coming in.

For years Peter and Tammy have cut my son and my hair. Today Tammy was not there. Peter refused to cut my son hair when he has cut it in the past. While I was getting my hair cut. Peter had my Son wait for the other 2 barbers who both skip my Son, Peter's excuse was that they don't know how my Son would like his hair cut. The service I received today was not appropriate. None the less I will not recommend this place to anyone and I will be looking for some one else that appreciates my loyalty and good tips.

Called the shop and was told that they were slow, so to come on in for a cut. I arrived 10 minutes later and both techs were busy, and there were people waiting for their haircuts. I waited at the counter for almost 15 minutes and was not acknowledged. Also, when the next client was asked what kind of cut he wanted, the barber said that he doesn't do that kind, just fades. Apparently nobody else does haircuts other than fades, so we both left.

I have been getting my hair cut here for 5 years now. Peter doesn't talk a lot, which is ok. He is good with the clippers and scissors! And price is reasonable.

First time there with my son and i highly recommend! Peter was very kind, gental, very nice as we walked in greeted us as he was with a customer. We sat down waited maybe 3mins top and he communicated with me and what i liked or wanted (he has pictures in wall so no misunderstanding). I chossed letter L medium fade with head cut whixh is extra . Waited 7 mins but he wasnt in any rush he took hes time and made sure my son was ok (hes scared of going to get a haircut bad experience) . my son was amazing.THANK YOU PETER C U SOON !! CASH ONLY only bummer thing but u wont b disappointed .
