Nice local haircutter. Clean shop, friendly and capable stylists for my boyfriend’s haircut. He was very pleased. He qualified for a senior discount and was happy about that, too.

I always go there to get my hair cut. Last time I called 4 days in advance to get an appointment. On my appointment date my chosen stylist was not there so another stylist contacted her and told me she was on her way. I waited for 30 to find out that my stylist wasn’t coming. I understand people get sick or have other reasons to not show but don’t tell me one thing and then tell me another.They should be mindful and responsible specially if there is an appointment made ahead of time. I will not come back there.

Hi Lila, I am so sorry this situation happened! We have had a few girls out sick unexpectedly this week & I apologize if it was not communicated properly. As we are such a public establishment, we cannot allow a stylist sick or with covid to come into work as it can spread easily to our clients. Again, I apologize the other stylists may not have been aware that this person was sick or the stylist who was sick did not effectively communicate to let someone know so they could relay the message.

I didn't go to hair salon for services, but the place was very clean. I went to see Tom, who does nails there. In left side suite. Tom does amazing work. He has a tight schedule, but it's worth the wait.

I scheduled a hair cut; arrived 15 minutes early. One of the ladies while cutting another customer hair greeted me; shared that I had a a hair cut appoint; she told me to have a seat. Waited for awhile; then, a stylish approached me and told me that she was running late, I asked for her name, indeed it was the stylish scheduled for my service. She stated that probably 2-3 hours. I asked to give me a call when she was available, provided my phone number. The call never arrived.

If you would like to try another stylist, please give us a call at the salon and ask for Yadira or Karen. Typical Latin low rate salon. I came here a couple of times years ago, once I was attended by a girl who gave me the worst haircut, so I booked with the salon owner Maria the next time, who gave me amazing service. She washed my hair cut it and asked me how I’d like it styled. All for only $25! Now that I moved back to Vallejo I booked yet again with Maria. Not only was she 15 minutes late to attend me, (keep in mind I’m on my 7-month old baby’s time), but she looks at the crowd and asks who’s next. I had to tell her she had a 4:30 with me 😅. My hair was still wet from a rinse but my hair was not clean, yet she just started cutting without asking. She doused my hair in leave in conditioner and at the end, slops half a bottle of gel into my hair. I was not asked, because if she had I would have asked for a blowout but because her waiting area was full she was quick to get me out. I was ready to pay her at least double whatever she was gonna charge me but I won’t ever be back. Cecy’s salon in Vallejo is no better either it was the same experience. These women like working hard for their money and so they miss out on clients willing to pay their worth. Their loss

Hello! We appreciate your review & I’m sorry we didn’t not give you the service you expected. So when you book with ANY salon, you as the customer must state which services you would like, we do not read your mind or assuming to add on services as those cost extra. We do not add leave in conditioner, the stylists add products at the end as a courtesy. If you would like a blow dry, you must state so. I truly hope you have a better experience at another salon. I hope our tips about speaking up help the next salon service you as you’d like.

Great experience, very polite and very hospitable, Always a great place to be love the environment. I feel welcome like family, I love my hair results every time. Thank you Vanny. I'm always welcome and receive great results every visit. I highly recommend everyone to make a an appointment with anyone for great care from Vanny's hair and spa.

Always have a problem with their cuts. So many places were overlooked! For instance, they only shaved one side of my husband's sideburn. Not worth it for their high price. Also, we scheduled an appointment with them by calling a day before. Even though we were on time, they still had us wait far too long. So, what is the point of making an appointment?
