I have been going to Modern Barber for over 10 years now. Why? The service is phenomenal; the owner Paul keeps his shop immaculate and offers great suggestions for your hair style. He provides many options that are best for his clients. Pricing is also great for the great value you get. If you want a clean, friendly environment, great cut and warm welcome from Paul, then Modern Barber is for you.

Honestly one of the worst haircut experiences I’ve ever had. I explained my style clearly from the start, but every time I tried to correct something, the owner acted irritated and told me I was “changing my mind.” My hair is uneven and I'm never going back there.

Don’t know how this place has so many 5 star reviews. Definitely was Not a good haircut and will not be coming back, maybe it’s cause I was a walk in? Idk but either way should be providing a good hair cut with or without appointments. Stopped in because of the majority good reviews but was pretty disappointed in the cut I received.

I just moved to Orange County about 3 months ago and have been shopping around for a good barbershop. And, I think I found my spot. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of this barbershop, Paul. And getting an amazing skin fade from him. He has owned this shop for 11 years and is very personable and friendly. The decor inside is absolutely modern and nice. Thank you Paul. I will be back.

Paul and Tommy are excellent and understand what it takes to make you look good. Good customer service. Clean. Quality. Just come here and get the cut you need. Make an appointment, they get busy!

Absolutely terrible service. I explained multiple times what kind of haircut I wanted and every time I told them they didn’t do something right, they’d complain “You’re changing your mind too much. Make up your mind.” They left my hair uneven, didn’t cut my sides shorter than the top LIKE I ASKED THEM TO, and before I could even give input they started putting away everything, then charged me $10 MORE than the listed price. Never coming here again and I’d rather cut my hair myself.

Paul is an artist. Best barber I've ever had! Make sure to make an appointment, he usually cant take walk-ins. The other barbers there are pretty good, but Paul is definitely the best. Update 2/19/22, yup still the best.

Helen is nice, good memory, much compliments?! Good cut, color or so so. Consistent cut, not price? I like her tho. The other girl cut uneven...sorry.

Awesome and friendly staff. Nancy cut my hair and her attention to detail was great. Realized she missed a few hairs as she was putting a little gel in my hair and fixed it immediately. I absolutely would come here again
