Usually I cut my own hair, but I had an emergency and couldn’t finish it. Long story short everyone here was super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Had a great experience at Shaky Razor. Tyrone was very friendly and took his time cutting my hair to perfection. This is the first time in a few years I’ve gotten a good haircut, as I’ve always been going to a cheap place for the last few years. Super happy with Tyrone Mean’s professional work and the cut looks great 👍👍

Atif never misses. Super clean fade, sharp lineup, and always listens to exactly what you want. You can tell he takes pride in his work. If you’re looking for a barber who’s consistent and skilled he’s your guy.

Toby is an excellent barber—skilled and always professional. Unfortunately, the ownership leaves much to be desired. The way the business is run feels rude and unprofessional. I’m sure the owners will have their rebuttal, but my experience mirrors what many other reviewers have said. It doesn’t seem like a coincidence.

Cutting was not worth $45. Problem: Left my hair uneven from top and right side of hair line is little deeper than left side. Feedback: Maybe next time don’t keep rotating the chair and let customer face the mirror and see what he/she is getting.

I actually really like the Shaky Razor, fair price point and most barbers are excellent. However, I’m a local, and I’ve been banned from the shop from missing only 1 appointment with George, during a busy holiday weekend with a lot of stuff going on. Understandable sure, my fault, absolutely. But I’ve been coming here for almost 3 years and they’ve tossed aside a loyal customer after 1 missed appointment and “other incidents” which refers to a time that I showed up, but had to leave cause of a time crunch (thought I could fit in a cut before a date, failed to have enough time for a proper fade) but still paid the barber for his time. Happened to be the same barber George. Two strikes. More like one foul and one strike. And I won’t be getting a third bite at the apple. Huh… So this is a warning, if you plan to come here often. They don’t forgive, and they don’t forget.

I'm from San Diego I was working out of town & I was staying in San Ramon. I had been there for 2 weeks already & I tried out a couple places but the Shaky Razor caught my interest. Greg the owner cut my hair a couple of times he's very professional & his wife as well. Jasmine is on point as well thanks guys for hooking me up on a fresh fade 👌💯 I appreciate next time I make it up there I'll definitely look you guys up thanks 👍

I am writing this review to caution other parents. My son got a hair cut yesterday and came home. He did not like the length in the front and we called the place and requested that we need adjustment to cut little more in the front. We visited the barber the next day for adjustment. After the cut the barber said that this is a whole new cut and I need to pay again. I was stunned. There was some miscommunication between the receptionist and the barber and I ended up paying again for an adjustment to the previous day’s cut. So please don’t leave the place till you are satisfied the first time! The cuts are great, but be warned that any adjustments later will cost you

Thank you for the review, however your son had very specific introductions on how he wanted his hair cut yesterday . Our whole shop knows this because the barber that cut your son’s hair needed a #10/12 guard to give him the look and cut desired. Those guards are not used very often and he had to ask and see if any of the other barbers had those numbers. When he left yesterday he was very happy with his cut. Today he came in saying nothing was wrong with the cut. That he spoke with his friend from school who cuts hair on the side and he suggested to him to get a different hair cut. Our barber then proceeded to give your son a whole new hair cut. Length was taken off on top, it got re aligned with straight edge and tapper was re touched as well. Our barber did not charge him full price for the new hair cut. Usually if something was wrong on our behalf we wouldn’t charge but this is a different hair cut. our Barbers are independent contractors. We are not a franchise, we do apologize for any mis information or misunderstanding with the receptionist

My son wanted a special cut with a Z on the side of his head and The Shaky Razor Barbershop was able to book an appointment for my son and me at the same time AMAZING!!!! That's not it, my son went to Brenda and I went with Greg, we both had an incredible experience. Brenda took a picture from my phone via an online cut my son liked and dominated it, my son was so happy and so was I. VERY IMPRESSIVE!!!! Highly recommend Brenda for kids special cuts and any cuts. I also highly recommend Greg, I asked for a low taper fade and he dominated it. I was very happy with my cut. Great service, great conversation with both Greg and Brenda, very happy and thankful they also made it kid friendly on the TV. A couple of days later, my son and I were walking at Costco and Brenda saw us and made it a point to say hello :-). Greatly appreciate her for saying hi, it made my son's day and mine. Appreciate Brenda, Greg, and their staff, they have been dominating the business for years!!!! Keep providing the excellent service your clients appreciate it. G.I.G. Thank you

It may appear that this is an advertisement for Japan or scantily clad man but its not! My baby boy got a haircut at Shaky Razor and I think they did an amazing job. My bf’s notoriously picky about his hair and even he loved the cut and buzz.
