Went in two days ago to indulge myself with a straight-razor shave. Naz was the only one there and so he gave me the shave, after explaining that my hair stylist couldn’t because she didn’t have right license (but he did). Having the right license has no bearing whatsoever on the skill brought to the table. See the video below - this is from 24 hours after the shave - my skin is still so burned it stings. Multiple cuts, and even what looks like a 3” hickey. Cut me everywhere. Let the shave go totally dry and never re-wet my skin. I guess this is my fault because I let him continue long after I knew my skin was getting cheese-gratered. While Naz carried on decent small talk, he was rude/angry in the way he’d requested me to hold still (regardless I was barely moving). When he explaioned why I needed to quit talking, he was condescending and patronizing. I finally told him he needed to not do the third pass. He told me that the difficulty was because I had a lot of pimples. I have no pimples. So at that point he finishes, and - still numb from all the after-shave stuff (which felt like fire). And shame on me, I left and I left a ridiculously large tip (it’s how I roll, and I didn’t realize what had happened yet). That was Wednesday afternoon. It’s now Friday morning, my skin is *still* as sore as hamburger. No idea how Naz is with a haircut, but he is clearly lacking skills (and judgment) when it comes to a straight razor. I have never in my life had a worse shaving experience. It was my amazing experience with a straight razor shave years ago that prompted me to do this, and I couldn’t have been more disappointed. I’ve been shaving 45 years and never scraped my skin like this. And if you check out my profile you’ll see that I almost NEVER leave a negative review. There’s really no point, I just don’t go back. But this is less a review than a warning.

Joe, you came in with Alcohol on your breath.<br>During your magnificent shave, you continued to move, the Barber informed you to stop moving. As our Video shows your mouth kept moving during the shave, the Barber finally informed you to stop talking which obviously you got upset.<br>You did say that , as you remembered your last shave years ago, implying you do not get shaves on a regular basis. As whom you get your haircut, is your own business not ours but you did inform the Barber it wasn’t from your regular lady that cuts your hair for obvious reasons. IF THIS EXPERIENCE TRAUMATIZE YOU , IM A LICENSED PSYCHOTHERAPIST THAT CAN HELP YOU WITH YOUR OBVIOUS LIFE ISSUES. <br> AS YOU OBVIOUSLY HAD ULTERIOR MOTIVES FOR COMING HERE. <br>FEEL FREE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS OPPORTUNITY AS YOU MAY NEVER HAVE ANOTHER .

I went to a near by Barbershop and they messed up my hair, I can run without questions these guys fixed me up . Thank you for a professional service. Reasonable price. Clean shop, nice barbers, cash only, and I would agree it’s the Best Barbershop in San Pedro . Satisfied and will be back .

Clip Joint Barbershop is a welcoming and clean establishment. I've been getting my hair cut here for several years. Always a great cut. I definitely recommend it. Walk ins are welcome, but make an appointment to save time. It's a barbershop, so don't be afraid of a little chit chat. Anything and everything is open for conversation. Current events, politics, the weather, and even the occasional joke. Clip Joint has become my go to place for a hair cut. I'll definitely be back.

Why do I come here?? Because it’s the best barber shop in San Pedro… Why? They give the best haircut in town. Great grownup conversation, huge tv, decor says it all old fashion, with a modern twist. You can tell they take a great deal of pride in their craft by how much pride they take in the appearance of the barber shop. No other one like it!! A lot of barber shop banter that goes on… have good humor.

Naz, one of the nicest Barbers I’ve met as a Barber. Came in told him what I was looking for and got exactly what I asked for. Great Job. Know the type of haircut you want before coming, especially if you’re a grown up. Don’t look confused be specific .. for the type of haircut I got, it’s worth 100 bucks . Old school Barbershop means you speak your mind but don’t be rude you’ll get it right back l.

Great barbershop! CASH ONLY! Provided great service and very friendly atmosphere. Very professional and provided great conversation throughout the visit. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a nostalgic style barbershop.

For the best Haircut in San Pedro come here. The place is welcoming, well decorated, professional Barbers. Ive gotten haircuts from lvan ans louie but my Favorite is Naz, he the best always on point ans knows his craft., true professional in all sense of the word. Highly recommended.

This place was great, and I got a wonderful haircut by Nas. Let me start off by saying I have not been to a barber in well over 20 years. I always just give myself a buzz cut at home. I am from out of town and was visiting for a special family event and wanted to look nice. I thankfully found this place on google as one of the closest barber shops to where I am staying and it had some great reviews. I called towards the end of the day and asked if they had any availability, they gave me and appointment just about an hour later. Even over the phone the conversation was quite fun, Nas was very personable. As others, and the sign mention, they have great conversations and I felt at home. My haircut was fast and turned out great! I am happy to have had this experience. If I lived here (or ever come back to town) I will for sure be visiting the Clip Joint Barber Shop again for another fancy hair cut. “A nice one” like my wife always says I should get!

Been coming here for several years . Clip Joint has been in business for over 60 years now Henry the Owner is super cool. I’ve gotten my hair cut by every Barber here Louie, Nas, Ivan and Erica I enjoy the great Manly conversation and being able to openly speak your mind. If you’re a Simp this is not for you as I noticed some whining men so sad. I love my barber shop it’s the best in San Pedro. A nice big Television and nice air conditioning with a beer I brought myself heavenly. Highly recommend this place. Take notice at their obvious sign so you can’t complaint later simps.
