My sons love going to Spencer. He is beyond talented and very professional. He works well with children on the spectrum, he is just so patient and kind. My sons have always left feeling confident and happy with their cuts. You can tell Spencer really invests in his skills and clients. He knows what he is doing. He really takes the time to listen as to what the client wants and even makes suggestions as to what will look good. One of the best barbers for sure.

I work in San Francisco throughout the week, and my schedule is usually super busy. Yet when I know I got a party coming up, wedding, anniversary, night with da Bois or a date with my Sexy Boothang. There is not a lot of people that I can count on to cut my hair, but if I can name one. IT WOULD BE, MICHAEL BECKHAM! If your in need of a haircut, he is the guy to go to! He keeps it professional and upbeat. Cool convesator, I had lots of life lessons learned here. Not only I come out with good haircut but more knowledgable, motivated and positive. Basically he is someone you can absolutely trust to make your hair looking right! In all, the place is clean and keeps a cool Old School Barbershop vibe.

I’ve been coming to this barbershop for a few years. And I would highly recommend for anyone looking to get a haircut. Wais has been my barber here and I can say that he is a professional and his craft is second to none he always makes sure that I leave with the style and cut I’m looking for. This is a classic barbershop, I’ve always had a positive experience here and I do highly recommend.

For the record, I really wanted to like this place because I've walked by for years admiring the vibe and interior. I didn’t have an appointment so I did a walk in with whoever was available. The barber who was available was actually really nice and really easy to talk to which is why I’m leaving 2 stars as opposed to 1. I requested a simple low taper fade just to clean up my sides. My barber (who I won't name because I understand that this is how they make a living and I wouldn't want to effect that) shaved much higher than expected despite the “low” in low taper fade i requested. My hair also seems to be pretty unblended and there is a huge contrast in length. So after asking for a low taper fade- I don’t really feel like my cut is “low” nor is it faded. Peers have told me it looks more like a sharp mohawk/mullet which is great if that was what i asked for however I was getting a haircut to because I have a few joy interviews and I need to take a passport photo. So yes, a mohawk is objectively sicc as hell but I’ll have to use this passport photo for the next 10 yrs and meet potentials employers like this. Obviously, your experience may vary. I know there are plenty of returning clients that love this place and I'm very happy for them. I don’t think I personally would come back again because I paid $50 + tip which is a lot for what I got. You may want to keep that in mind if you're in the same boat.

This is probably the worst barbershop I’ve ever been to in my life. This is my neck after a beard trim and this is after me telling him he needs to do the neck. I don’t know where the hell these guys get their training. Had to go to Walgreens and do it myself before an event I had in less than 30 minutes. Very inconvenient and burdened me excessively and wasted my money. Would never come here.

In town from out of state for a conference and special occasion. I got a fade done with Chang. He gave me exactly what I asked for and more. Best clipper cut/ blend into my curly hair out of all my 4 years going to different barber shops in my hometown. This guy is amazing!!

I recently had the pleasure of getting a haircut from Spencer, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I've had at a barber. Spencer was incredibly personable and made me feel comfortable from the moment I sat in the chair. He was attentive and really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. The result was a perfect haircut that exceeded my expectations. Spencer is very skilled and has an acute attention to detail. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top-notch barber.

I searched for the “Best bald fade in SF” I was not disappointed. Paid $45 and had a great time with good conversation. Shout out to Wais for the wisdom and the cut.

Fabulous haircut, beard trim and conversation with Omar. Great ambience and reasonable prices too. I'm very excited to have this place in the neighborhood -- already looking forward to my next cut.

Best barber shop in the city. Rather than getting junior barbers who don't really don't know what is what - they rent out chairs to the best of the best. Barbers running their own business, the old school way. Omar is just fantastic. The space is comfortable, authentic and in a great location. You will never go anywhere else. I've been going to Omar for years and happy to see him step out on his own and get his own place. A truly local business with a local awesome dude.
