I recently switched over to this shop from a recommendation and love it! The guys know what they’re doing, period. It’s the perfect cut, with no messing around. It’s also a bit cheaper than other barbershops in the area and I always have great conversations. I highly recommend you make your way here if you’re looking for the right cut, at the right price, with a great team!

On Friday, October 4, 2024, I was looking for a barber shop to get my haircut. I googled different barbershops in the city and found Metropolitan Barbershop. On the Metropolitan barber shop website, I was able to see which barbers had open availability. The barber that had open availability for the time I wanted was the barber named Bill! Bill gave me a great haircut and was very friendly and held a great conversation with me! I will come back and have Bill cut my hair again. Thank you Bill!

We’re traveling for a longer time and visiting a barbershop somewhere in the world can always be a hit or a miss. This barbershop definitely lived up to my expectations. Great cut and super friendly barbers. Thank you Elijah, will definitely be back when I’m back in San Francisco.

Metropolitan is a really good barber shop. I have been going here for two years and am always very happy with my haircut. Dany is a stellar barber. Going to Metropolitan feels like hanging out with friends, and you will walk away with a great haircut. Would highly recommend.

Went there this morning for the first time to get my beard cleaned up and neck shaved and it was a perfect experience. Elijah was friendly , professional, did exactly what I asked and more, and relaxing (usually stressed out going to someone new). IF I lived in SF I would be there every week.

These guys are all pros. I love this place as the barbers are all friendly and give great haircuts. It's a comfortable environment to enjoy a drink while getting a fresh cut and feeling like a million bucks. Danny is especially awesome and will take care of you. Totally worth the money.

Dan and Luis were great barbers and wonderful guys to chat to. My two brothers and I are visiting SF and I tried two other barber shops before I came across these guys who fitted us in today. Good lads, would get my hair cut by them again!
