Got a scissor cut from Joe… he had no idea what he was doing! It was so bad when I went to someone else weeks later they asked if my last cut was done by a professional. Would not recommend for a scissor cut

I went there today for a quick trim. Met Jesus, who was just the best. Good shave, good chat. Good vibes all round. Thank you Jesus!

These guys cut my hair before my proposal in Alamo Square and the week before my wedding, impeccable job both times and would highly recommend to anyone looking to get ready for a big day

Eduardo is my guy 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 he cuts my son's hair. Each & every cut he does is absolutely a 10. He's very patient with my 6-year-old & always allows him extra time when he's a little restless. I appreciate his kindness

I’m kind of disappointed with my experience, especially with Joe da barber. Before the cut, I had an Afro and clearly asked for a low fade to maintain my natural style. Instead, I ended up with a very high fade that completely changed the look I wanted. When I tried to explain this before the cut, Joe said, “Are you trying to tell me how to do my job?” – which came off as unprofessional. I know my hair and I had a clear vision of how I wanted to look. Now the sides are way too short and I no longer have the style I came in with. To be fair, the haircut was done with skill – technically it’s well-executed. But it’s simply not at all what I asked for.

I’ve been going to Rami since 2017, and I can confidently say he’s one of the best in the business. His attention to detail, consistency, and professionalism have kept me coming back year after year. Whether it’s a simple clean-up or a full restyle, Rami always takes the time to make sure the cut is exactly what I want—and somehow better than I imagined. The experience is always smooth, timely, and welcoming. If you’re looking for a barber who truly takes pride in their craft, Rami is the one.

Barber - Jesus I’ve been going to Chicago 2 for over a year now, and always get a cut from Jesus. I’ve had waves and a fro, got different style cuts, and he’s always come through. In the year I’ve been going here, I’ve had to wait maybe about 10 minutes to get in the chair, at the time of my appointment, only one time. Jesus is very punctual and if he ever needs to cancel for whatever reason he always lets me know way ahead of time. The shop - One of the best barbershops in the city. Prices are reasonable and everybody who comes through seems to know eachother. This place has a very welcoming, family vibe. Feels like anybody can come through for a cut. The chairs are really comfortable too & the decor is well chosen.

My cousin was in desperate need for a haircut and we are so glad we came across Chicago’s, especially Jesus! He recommended what would look good for his hair type and face shape and made sure my cousin was getting the cut/style he wanted. Jesus was very professional and friendly. His cuts are clean and he has great attention to detail. Jesus is definitely my cousin’s go to barber now and he should be yours too!

These brothers are professionally dressed, professional in demeanor and the shop is clean and well maintained. My only gripe is that if you're a walk-in, you can spend nearly two hours (in my case) waiting for an opening even with 6 barbers working and there's no information given on how long your wait will be.
