I met Michelle outside of her world of being a barber, but her place came up in convesation. I really wanted to find a new person to cut my short hair and do it right. I am so pleased. I am very happy that it is an easy trip from my home in Redwood City. Good vibe, great cut, wonderful value.

Dante does one of the best fades. And he’s one of the fastest too. I have a weird shaped head so it usually takes about an hour for most people to give me a fade. Dante was done super fast and it looks 10/10. Cool interior at this place too.

Pedro was my barber. These are the things I asked for: 1.) Top buzzed down with an 8 guard, 2.) Taper on the sides, 3.) Leave the parietal ridge heavy and square, and 4.) Blend the top into the sides to eliminate any disconnect. I’m extremely particular about my hair and subsequent details but Pedro executed everything I asked for perfectly. If I normally got short haircuts, Pedro would be my go-to. Please don’t hesitate to book with him. He’s nice with it.

Leon has been my barber for the past 4 years and hoping to continue being his client for many years to come! He is professional, incredibly skilled with the clippers, and a fun dude to hang with while getting your haircut. I booked him to cut/shave all my groomsmen the day of my wedding and he left everyone looking extra fresh! I had a diverse group of groomsmen from different ethnicities/backgrounds and he was able to accommodate everyone’s hair style and preferences. All of my buddies loved it! If you visit Boondocks barbershop, make sure to ask for Leon! You will not be disappointed!

Quality work and nice people! I've been here for my last three cuts and Amber does a great job every time. Booking appointments online is easy and I've never had to wait long for my turn in the chair.

In the area only for a week but wanted to get a fade/trim and Pedro did not let me down! By far my best experience with a barber transferring what I had pictured in my head into reality. I recommend Boondocks and Pedro, the only downside about my visit is that I don’t live in the Bay Area or otherwise I would have found my permanent barber!

I followed Michelle and Amber from their previous shop in Redwood City. Always a great fade and good vibes! Book your appointment early online cause they can be busy. I love that they’re also supporting Veteran owned businesses by carrying Anchors Aweigh product!!
