Haven’t gotten a haircut in a while because I was doubting if my haircut would look nice and left the Student Barber Shop looking fresh! Shoutout to the Student Barber Aldo for giving me a clean haircut! Would go again! I’m looking forward to coming back again another time! Wish you the best Aldo. (Although I had to wait an hour and a half to get my haircut because they were barely any student barbers there it was definitely worth the wait!

Just got my haircut & I Love it! Haha new haircut, asked what I wanted! The environment was welcoming and got me in quick! Turned out just right, Thank you! I feel fresh!! 😉💯

Walked in with hair. Walked out questioning every decision I’ve ever made. I asked for a low fade with a trim on top. The guy named Evan gave me a high fade. He didn't let me see the mirror the whole time and kept saying "trust me bro" i wish i didn't trust. He spinned my head like he was working on mannequin. Half way through the cut he was getting mad whereas i should've been mad as he cut my upper lips and didn't even feel bothered. When he saw little blood his words were "my bad" ( not even apologetic). He was using comb and scissor like he was not cutting hair, he was cutting dead grass and when i asked him to be gentle he got mad. Adding more to insult, the lady instructor was right behind us all the time and didn't even say anything to the barber when i complained. Seems like they are hand in glove as they have no sense of apologies for messing someone hair and ruining their day. It felt like they do this everyday and are used to it. Never in last 7-8 years i had such worst experience at this place. Everyone was very nice and welcoming but this was the last time. Hope the barber learns people skills and how to work with customers before he leaves the institute or else he would be jobless soon. Save yourself. Go to literally anywhere else- it’ll be less traumatic.

I've been a client at Western Barber Institute for over three years, and l've always left feeling confident and taken care of. The barbers here truly take pride in their work, and the atmosphere is always welcoming and professional. After years of being a loyal client, I decided to take the leap and enroll as a student, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I've been a student now for about three months, and the experience has been life-changing. A huge thank you to Mr. C -- his passion and dedication to teaching are on another level. He motivates us to push past our comfort zones, and his energy is so contagious that it makes every class something to look forward to. You can tell he genuinely cares about each student's growth and success. Mr. B is another amazing instructor who deserves so much credit. His calm and patient approach makes learning technical skills feel less intimidating. He has a gift for breaking things down step by step and is always willing to give extra guidance when needed. Western Barber Institute feels like a big family. Whether you're sitting in the chair as a client or learning behind it as a student, you're treated with respect and kindness. I couldn't recommend WBl enough -- both as a place to get a fresh cut and as the perfect school to start your barbering journey. Absolutely amazing Chris did good the instructor helped well. I would absolutely recommend this place,I've never been able to get the right hairstyle but this place I asked and they gave.

HORRIBLE experience. DO NOT take your kids here. The barbers are childish and very disrespectful. They made my 8 year old son very uncomfortable made fun of him and were violating his privacy by exposing him to strangers on FaceTime. My child left feeling very uncomfortable and sad. The manager did not care and there was no apology given to my son. Very unprofessional and very disrespectful staff. So unbelievable. Save your money and go elsewhere.

We went there yesterday to get my moms and sisters hair done. They showed pictures of what they wanted done but ended up with something completely different. My mom wanted blonde and now is light brown. My sister's hair is two colors because the ends didn't get the color, and the guys couldn't fix it. It is honestly not worth it. Because they don't know how to properly do it. Not even the instructor was able to fix it. So, save your money and go elsewhere.

The students are great and the instructors are cool. Lots of good energy in the place. Just be patient, don't be in a hurry, they'll get the job done. Now tell me, where you gonna get a professional cut ✂️ for $4 for seniors? I'm a fan since 2022.
