Jerry did an awesome job cutting my son’s hair. He took the time to ask him what he wanted, listened, and made him feel comfortable the whole time. The cut turned out great—and my son loved it, which says a lot. We’ll definitely be back.

Called and was in the chair in 15 minutes, Jerry did a great job figuring out what I wanted, and asked me lots of questions to make sure he was getting it right, will definitely be returning

One of the best haircuts I’ve had in a long time! Jerry was super professional, friendly, and clearly knows his craft. He took the time to understand what I wanted and absolutely nailed the look. The shop was clean, the vibe was chill, and the attention to detail was next level. In town on vacation, my son and I needed a haircut bad! Decided to walk into this shop on a whim. We all know that’s a scary situation, no appointment, not knowing your barber! Well I ended with Jerry and guys I have to tell you. I just got what I think is the best haircut of my life. It’s hard to find a barber that’s good with the clippers AND the scissors. Well this guy was a pro at both, 5 Star service from the start honestly. I’m not a big review guy but Jerry deserves all the praise. All we want is to feel good after a cut and he delivered the goods, thanks Jerry! Only problem is now I have to fly 3,000 miles to get this done again!

I popped in here today and felt the need to share the experience. I’m not usually a walk in guy but I was in a time crunch and had to get it done today. I got Jerry Madrid and that was easily the best thing that’s happened to my beautiful head of hair in quite some time. Jerry was attentive and understood all my notes on what I didn’t want my hair to look like. I was probably a month overdue for a cut but usually I keep it clean. I showed Jerry a few pictures and away we went. Easily the best haircut I’ve had in years, maybe ever. The shop was welcoming, had a good energy and Jerry knocked it out of the park. I’ve officially found a new barber.

they horribly ruined my hair and cut it 5 times shorter than what I asked for. the barber I was originally going to, switched it last second and I was put with a HORRIBLE barber. I stopped mid haircut to tell her it’s horrible and uneven and she made it even worse. 0/10 would never come back or recommend to others

I am extremely pleased with my hair cuts and blow outs by Shannon at Avenue Barber Shop, my hair is shoulder length and grey/white, it's shiny and full of body when I leave. Everyone in the shop is pleasant and professional, prior to the pandemic I would have my hair colored as well. Shannon is an excellent colorist and stylist. The prices are reasonable and appointments may be made on Booksy.

This place is great and I’ve always had a good experience! Everyone is friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is low key. Shannon is excellent and spends time with each client to focus on their style. I highly recommend!
