I needed a last minute haircut for a special event tomorrow. I had an incredibly hectic day, but I still came 20 minutes before they close, which is plenty of time for a nice cut and maybe even a shave. I came with extra cash to tip as a thank you to the barber who was going to take me as the last customer of the night. Even though I explained that whole situation to them, they still turn me away and said they can't take me till the next day. I was so excited that this is a local small business barber shop that's open until 9:00 p.m., but definitely not what was advertised. I guess don't depend on them to be open as late as they say they are on Google.

I came in waited no longer then 5 minutes and was getting a haircut. In a economy where you hear $50 for a cut they charged half! Place was out of this world beautiful! It has a great view of a park! The barbers are very welcoming. The place is sanitary with the right equipment to dispose of sharp razors. Amazing Samsung tv to watch sports, news, or whatever you please. Place is spotless and they sweep after each cut. Clean as they work. Clippers are cleaned before, while, and after haircut. With price, fungsway, and cleanliness this is a hidden gem

I had an awesome experience with Maestro G (Eddie) — he gave me one of the best pompadour and beard combo cuts I’ve ever had. He’s professional, knows exactly what he’s doing, and takes the time to make sure everything looks perfect. He’s a great conversationalist too — turns out we actually went to the same high school and both graduated in 2003. Small world! If you’re looking for a clean pompadour with a skin fade and sharp beard work, Eddie is your guy. The price is reasonable, the shop has a great vibe, and you can tell he really takes pride in his craft. Highly recommend.

I love this barbershop. Maestro always gets the cuts right for my kid. Friendly, personal and relaxing barbershop. It’s an overall good vibe when you go here. The owner makes you feel like family. My kid loves going here he trusts them with the haircuts he gets. Took us a long time to find a barber we could trust to deal with my kids hair.

This is a great spot and Eddie is awesome. He takes his work and art seriously, you can tell, and it comes out in the final product. The location of the shop is great, it sits right in front of a community park and it's a unique, calming experience. Fairly certain I got my best haircut I've experienced in my 40 years today, and I will definitely be back. If you're looking for a premium experience at a fair price, you know where to go.

Can only say the most positive praise for DJ. I remember walking into the barber shop he worked at about 7 years ago. I had very long hair and knew I wanted to do a major cut. I went in just to ask questions and learn terminology. He made me feel comfortable and safe, and encouraged me to take a seat in his chair. For 7 years I haven’t gone to another barber. He’s ridiculously talented and I frequently was complimented on my hair. I was known for always having a fresh cut. I owe my self-confidence to DJ. He was a bridge to me achieving my authenticity. I am grateful to this day that I walked into the barber shop when he was available. Biggest shout out and thank you to DJ- the best that’s ever done it!!!

Since I've moved to o.c. 10 years ago I've had only one person clean me up with the best cuts and shaves in all of o.c. good haircuts ain't cheap and cheap haircuts aren't good. The shop has an energy that's hard to describe, the moment you sit in the chair it's not business as usual as in you're rushed or doesn't feel personal. The vibe that maestro provides is that one of the best conversationalist with jokes and wholesome energy allowing you to feel at home and knowing your in the right place. The effort he puts into his craft is evident from beginning to end the concise detail that he puts in your cut is unmatched.

I been getting my cuts with Eddie for about 10 years now. I have been following him from shop to shop, but now I'm glad he has his own permanent spot. His attention to detail, consistency, and skill are second to none. No matter what style I'm going for, Eddie always delivers a precise and clean cut. Beyond his talent, Eddie creates and inviting and comfortable atmosphere in his shop. If you're looking for a barber who takes pride in his craft and treats every client with respect and care, Eddie is your man to go to.
