I can strongly recommend getting hair-cut with Raquel and Hector. Their location always clean and they are kind, polite and friendly with all the customers, particularly with kids.

So I went in for an easy haircut and requested to not get certain things like a line or high fade. And what did I get exactly what I said I didn’t want. Twice I tried this place and both had a bad experience. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and they failed me on easy simple instructions.

Last time I went here they gave me an exceptional haircut. One of the best I ever got. I recently came back and somehow the quality dropped. The cut I got recently was disappointing. Please consider a different barber.

I have been getting my haircut at Sports Barbershop since 2016 (specifically by Raquel since 2020). I found Sports Barbershop when I initially moved to Paramount. After trying out a few different ones in the area, Sports Barbershop was the clear winner for me. The staff is always friendly, inviting, efficient, and, no matter whose chair I sat in, I always left more than satisfied. When they closed during the pandemic, I went 3-4 months without getting a haircut. When I was finally able to go back (with a head full of hair), I had ideas for a new style. Raquel was able to give me the haircut I was looking for and I’ve stuck with her ever since. When I lived in Paramount, it used to take me 5 minutes to get to Sports Barbershop. However, since moving, it now takes me 30 minutes to get there from my home. That being said, the drive is always worth it. I don't see myself searching for a new barbershop anytime soon.

I’ve always had a hard time finding a barber that knew how to cut my hair because of how curly it is. That was until my cousin introduced my brother and I to his barber, Raquel. From the very beginning Raquel was attentive and professional. She listened to how I wanted my hair cut, while asking questions and making suggestions (first time getting my beard trimmed at a barbershop) to make sure I left looking and feeling great! THANK YOU RAQUEL!!! My brother and I will definitely be back!

I’ve been going here since I was young and all the barbers do an outstanding job cutting my hair perfectly to my liking. I’ve stuck with Raquel throughout these recent years because she knows exactly what I want and how to handle my hair. I very much recommend coming here and I will definitely stay here myself whenever I am in need of a cut.

Still the best barbers in town. Pure professionals and the stylist there is also a gem. Very friendly and welcoming to all. I’ve been coming here for years and even when my main guy Hector is unavailable, I trust everyone that works here with my cut. They always have music or a movie playing so it’s never dull! 10 stars.

So I’m finally writing a review for this business. To be honest, I’ve been getting my haircut here for over 10 years, 15 probably. I’m not the only one, there are many regulars that I recognize when I head in. This is a local family run business, and although all the barbers aren’t related, they definitely act like they are. Parking is tough, but worth it in my opinion. I’m a regular with the owner, Hector, but have used Raquel or one of the other barbers & was not disappointed. Very clean shop. Give them a shot.

Came back to sports barbershop during this pandemic. The place was clean and definitely took the necessary precautions to keep me safe. Best haircuts in town and definitely worth the 25 min drive. My cousin used to go to Great Clips recommended him here and he said he will never go back.

I been coming to sports barbershop for years. They are always on point and on time. True professionals. I strongly recommend booking your appointment with them. It’s a very family oriented business and all the barbers are immaculate with their work. My brother just moved to Mexico and he is looking for a barbershop at this level!!!
