I’ve been a customer of Amy’s for over 10 years but as of recently I have not been impressed with the quality of cuts I’ve received. As this is the second time where I’ve gotten a haircut so uneven im considering buzzing all of it off.

Review is not for a cut, since i cant get one. A friend recommended i try this place. Its by appointment only and phone calls only. The phone is never answered and leaving a voicemail doesnt work either. Great for the shop, if she’s too busy to bother with answering the phone and booking the chair. Or maybe its for folks who know the secret hour to call, or “locals only” type place. Ill never know!

Amy did a great job; quick and accurate cuts and super fast. All three of us were done in under 45 mins. Lawrence and Amy are great. Loved the experience and will be back when I’m in town.

Amy is incredible! Not only is she an amazing and accomplished barber, but she’s got a great sense of humor and is very caring. My husband visits Amy every week. Yes, appointments are required but that’s because she’s busy. She even suggested excellent restaurants and things to do in the area as we recently moved here from Texas. Do not pay attention to the bad reviews. Leaving a bad review because you have to make an appointment is a kin to a privileged person thinking they can just cut the line. Get over yourself people!

Amy is the best! She is very welcoming and truly cares about her customers. Very reasonable prices and always give’s a great haircut. I am sure to visit her every time I am in town.

I came across a baffling review that unfairly criticized this place for not accepting walk-ins and needlessly mentioning the staff's ethnicity – an irrelevant factor. There's a noticeable sign at the entrance explaining their appointment policy, which has been consistent throughout my 10 years of patronage. Let's talk about Amy, the hairstylist. She works solo, devoting full attention to one customer at a time, with each service lasting around 20 minutes. Her work is flawless, and the prices are impressively below the average by almost half. It's disheartening to see a one-star review tied to ethnicity. This place embraces diversity; patrons come from various backgrounds – Hispanic, Pacific Islander, Black, Middle Eastern...You name it! Instead of focusing on such biases, perhaps reconsider your stance. For those who value Amy's skills, we're content with her just the way she is – dedicated and excellent.

Amy is an excellent barber and amazing person. People constantly ask me where I get my hair cut, and I hate to give away the local secret, but I say "Johnny's Barber Shop." Never walked out with anything less than a great cut. Impressive fades. She's super fast, funny, friendly, and engaging. Water and snacks while you wait. Amy has lived a full life and if you get to know her, will regale you with her tales and listen to yours as well. Amy keeps me looking fly, and she will do the same for you. Make an appointment to save yourself the wait if you walk in. Thank you Amy, for the years of awesome haircuts... and hopefully many more!

Fast but not rushed, Amy is awesome. Even under the pressure of waiting customers and phone calls, Amy is calm and friendly. Most importantly, she gives you a quality cut exactly the way you ask for it for a very reasonable fixed price. Don`t pay attention to the 1 and 2 star ratings, these people don`t have any idea what quality and a good customer experience is. They can`t start a sentence without saying "ummm" or "like" so why bother listening to them. Great job Amy, keep up the great work.
