If I could give 0 stars, I would. I went to Art of the Blades Barbershop and had a terrible experience. The barber messed up my eyebrow by cutting a slit that I never asked for, then admitted it was his mistake. When we asked for a refund, instead of trying to fix the situation or being professional, he became disrespectful and rude. Customer service matters just as much as the haircut, and this place failed on both. I would not recommend coming here if you care about your appearance or being treated with respect.

My work takes me around the country. I typically choose a shop where I feel I’ll get a nice fade and I always check the reviews on GOOGLE. I think each barber here has a decent skill set. I personally was very happy with my fades on my last visit. The barbers are approachable and genuinely nice people Also I noticed they could cut all hair types straight or textured. They kept a good conversation. Though I have not taken any photos. I can say the shop is clean, well kept with plenty of seating. Adult and kid friendly.

Awesome spot. All the barbers here are solid. I always get cut up by Lou, and if he’s not available another barber will take care of me 100%. They also have a coffee bar so it definitely adds some class to the place.

I brought my 5 year old son in for a haircut. The haircut was decent took about 30 minutes. Fade was sub par(this was supposed to be a mid bald fade). Line up crooked. Comb over length on top a lot shorter than I’d like. At the end the bill came out to $48.53 after tax. I tipped $5 so it came out to $53.53, I was not happy paying that amount for a kids haircut. The barber said a line up cost additional. I have never in my life had to pay extra for a line up when getting a haircut. This was the most expensive haircut I’ve paid for my son and it wasn’t the best either. Kids cut pricing should be clearly displayed, because this was an outrageous price for a kids haircut. I won’t be coming back. I feel as I have been taken advantage of.

Absolutely love getting my hair cut at Art of Blades. The shop has a great vibe, and the team is always professional and welcoming. Polo, the owner, is outstanding—super friendly, professional, and you can tell he takes pride in the shop and his craft. They do accept walk-ins, but I highly recommend booking an appointment online through their website to lock in your spot. Gotta give a huge shoutout to Chuy. He’s been my go-to barber for the last five years, and the man is a master with the clippers. Always consistent, always clean, and his fades are top tier. If you're looking for a fresh cut from a talented, reliable barber, Chuy's your guy. Can’t recommend Art of Blades enough.

This is a great barbershop, l've gone to more than a dozen barbershops in the Inland Empire over the last 6 years since I moved to Riverside and I always switched barbers and barbershops due to the inconsistency but I have found my go-to barbershop and Barber. Polo the barber never fails to do a great job and is always on time when it comes to an appointment. Their team is very respectful and always extremely welcoming. If you're looking for a new barbershop or a new barber, you have found the right place here! Highly recommended!!!

Have been getting my haircut by Polo for a decade now. For real BEST BARBERSHOP in California. They have some other amazing barbers to mention a few Jesus aka “Chewy,” Chris, Jerry and lots of new amazing barbers. My whole family has been getting their haircuts here for years, they give amazing service, take their time and set the right vibes of an American / Latin barbershop. If you’re looking for high quality haircuts then make sure you check them out. It’s called the art of blades for a reason. Guarantee you won’t find a barber like Polo in the IE. The guy never uses enhancements either, unless you request.

Call in advance to ask if they can help myself and my son. I told the person in the phone that I was arriving in 30 minutes. He assured me that we will be able to get a haircut and that they are taking people with no appointments. I arrived and no barber was available, then after waiting 15 minutes a new barber arrived and was able to help my son, but unfortunately there was no one to help me because everyone was supposedly booked and they just walk to the back of the barbershop. I left work early to be able to get a haircut before an important event that we have. I don’t appreciate the fact that I was mislead on the phone and I did after waiting here for 60 minutes I was not able to get a haircut. I do not recommend the vibe and this place due to the lack of responsibility of the barbers in this place. Definitely will not come back again.

Polo and the team do a great job here. I highly recommend The Art of Blades Barbershop! Always a great haircut and the atmosphere can't be beat. Additional beard, clean-up, trimming, and line-up services are also available. Cash and debit only. Appointments recommended, but walk ins are also welcome.
