He takes his time, pays attention to every detail, and makes sure you leave looking sharp and feeling confident. The fades are clean, the lines are crisp, and the overall experience is professional and welcoming. He listens to exactly what you want and styling you to your needs. Had a great experience at Golden Roots Barber Lounge. It was our first visit and we will definitely be back. Booking was easy and I was able to get a same day appointment. Yonas (the owner) did an excellent job. The cut was precise, clean, and very professional. I could immediately tell that he truly cares about both his craft and his business. He was very polite and had a warm, welcoming energy that made us feel comfortable. The shop itself is beautiful, modern, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. It is a really nice space to have in the neighborhood and gives an elevated barbershop experience. Yonas is hands down one of the best barbers around. He’s professional, consistent, and always makes sure you leave the chair looking sharp and feeling confident. He takes his time, listens to what you want, and pays attention to the details, which really shows in his work. Beyond just cutting hair, Yonas is a core part of our community. He creates a welcoming environment i’ve been getting my hair cut from him since i was just a kid back when golden roots was K-fly, hands down goat barber.

Started going to this spot after being on a journey to find a new barber. Yonas is unlike any barber I’ve had in my 46 years of getting haircuts. He pays close attention to what I want out of my cuts and provides detailed strategy. I’m a black male from the south who likes to get my hair cut weekly and Yonas doesn’t disappoint! The shop itself is very pleasant too. The music is always nice and more importantly the music isn’t blasting. The shop esthetics are very inviting. The other barbers are nice and the shop overall is very inclusive of all walks of life.

Walking in, the vibes are immaculate. Yonas told me how much thought and effort he put in to every design choice in his shop, and it shows. The color scheme is noble and smart but also calming. He gave me exactly what I asked for for a super affordable price considering most barber shop prices these days. Super nice guy, can’t recommend enough!

I have been bringing my son to Yonas for a hair cut for a years. He listens carefully to what my son wants and offer his professional advice when needed. My son leaves his chair happy all the time. The shop has been remodeled recently. The space is completely transformed – really clean, modern, and comfortable. Highly recommend!
