I recently visited this barbershop for the first time, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. My assigned barber was Alex. My haircut was only two weeks old and still fully in shape, so I specifically asked for a refresh to keep the same model, clean up the bottom with a low to mid fade, lightly trim the sides, and take about half an inch off the top with some texture added. I was very clear that I wanted to maintain the existing shape, just freshened up. Halfway through the cut, I noticed in the mirror that the longer sections on the sides which only needed minor trimming had been completely shaved off. Almost all of the length was gone. I calmly mentioned that this wasn’t what I had asked for and that I only wanted a refresh while keeping the model. The barber responded by saying, “That’s how we cut hair here in the United States, it will grow back. He then offered a discount and said he wouldn’t cut the top. However, since the sides had already been shaved so short, leaving the top untouched would have made the haircut look even more unbalanced. When I asked him to fix the top to make it proportional, he initially refused and told me I was being “too specific” with my requests, even though my instructions were very straightforward. I then asked if the owner, who was standing nearby, could finish the top, and I made it clear I was willing to pay the full price (or more). Only then did he agree to continue. Unfortunately, the top was not done as requested either. Instead of carefully trimming with scissors and adding texture, he used clippers to randomly cut into longer sections. He also combed my hair forward and cut a straight line across my forehead, despite me clearly asking for a textured finish. The result does not reflect what I asked for and significantly altered the original style I wanted to maintain. Overall, I did not feel heard, and the final result was far from the simple refresh I requested. When I came home I noticed that he did a mid fade on the left and a high fade on the right, this when I requested a low to mid fade. This barber was very unprofessional and unfriendly.

Great cut - above & beyond attention to detail and able to discuss the “vibe” not just the clipper length …. Friendly & easy spot, great price - very happy

Solid spot! I called ahead for a walk in and Charles was really polite over the phone and let me know they’d try to fit me in on a busy weekend. The folks here were really kind and hospitable. I didn’t wait too long and they offered refreshments while I waited. Alex gave me a wicked line up and was receptive to how I wanted my haircut. Ambience is 10/10. Finding parking around the area also wasn’t okay. Great spot overall! And a fair price

This was my first time getting a cut here, I was lucky enough to get Tenzin. Great cut, great conversation, he got my beard perfect too. 10 outta 10 will be a regular.

Charles has the best customer service. Always very welcoming to everyone that comes in the shop. His skills are second to none and he always provides a great experience. His shop is a mandatory visit whenever I’m in the Bay!

This may seem like an exaggeration but Tenzin gives me the best haircuts I’ve ever had. The shop also has a lot of personality and is very inviting. Highly recommend.

Tenzin Cheojor is an amazing barber! Super talented and skilled. He makes me feel very comfortable during the cut and makes my hair look really good! I would recommend him 100%. The barbershop is also always clean and nice.

I’ve spent a lot of money on a decent haircuts. I’ve walked out of the barbershops feeling like I’ve been ripped off after paying for a Halfway decent fade and a slanted line up.. Shout Out to Mike The Barber for making sure this is no longer my barbershop experience. Mike pays close attention to detail and understands hair growth. My taper and lineup are always flawless. The warm towel and straight edge cleanup are a relaxing ending. I feel brand new after sitting in his chair. The overall barbershop experience Was filled with positive energy and chill people in a very clean environment. Good looking Mike!

Awesome experience. Mike did such a good job cleaning up my hair. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. I left my dog in the front but when he started crying, Mike let my dog sit in my lap haha. this was my first professional haircut in years. i stopped going to salons because i always wanted to cry after they made me look like some old lady karen. i left here feeling fresh as hell haha. i will be coming back!

First time here and I loved it !! I would totally recommend. Bella and Alex are super professional, great mini conversations. Both my kids got a haircut and they also loved how it came out. FANTASTIC!!!
