I’m a firefighter and I go here two times a month for my haircuts to keep me looking clean cut for work. Lou has the best cuts and prices in town. He takes pride in his haircuts and the shop is always very clean and well maintained.

Lou is a friendly, happy guy. I love visiting whenever I am in town. He transfers me from a mess to the sexiest person alive! Jk. And he is very reasonable and there is usually no wait. (No pictures as I can’t back up the previous claim)

Have been here many times over the past couple of years and the dude has always been great. Usually remembers me too, but I guess I caught him on a bad day. Started off with him not remembering me till I showed him photos (which I thought was weird, but who cares about that…I’m here for a haircut lol). Then told him not to cut it as short as last time (cut my hair about 4 lengths shorter than I asked, but I was cool with it because it still looked good). Then asked him not to take my sideburns too high and when he got to them, immediately started taking them off completely —then when I said something acted like I was being crazy and got loud. Was over it at that point, told him it was fine, asked him to just finish the cut. Noticed he was cutting into my hairline by my eyebrow on one side and asked what he was doing and he said “just making it even”. Which didn’t really make sense, but again I was over it so just said okay. Then he asked me for a tip when I was paying (it’s already $35 for a haircut here, but it’s Newport so I guess it’s understandable). Then I get about a mile away and realize in my car mirror he didn’t make anything even LOL, just cut a straight, unnecessary line into my hairline. Hopefully bro has a better day now that he’s taken his anger out on my hairline 😂✌🏼

Just got a cut from Lou at Harber Barber and couldn’t be happier. He’s got a great eye for detail, listens to what you want, and delivers a clean, sharp cut every time. The vibe in the shop is chill and welcoming, and Lou makes the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a top-notch barber who takes pride in his work.

I had a fantastic experience at The Harbor Barber! I was able to walk in right away, and the barber was very accommodating. I showed him a picture of the haircut I wanted, and he got to work immediately. The haircut was quick yet of high quality, and he paid attention to every detail. I highly recommend this barber shop and will definitely make this my go-to place for haircuts moving forward. Thanks for the great service!

We were on vacation and needed 2 bald fades for our boys. Luu did a great job! We were able to get in right away, had great conversation and the boys look good! I only gave 4 stars because the line up on the forehead left large cuts. We will definitely be back!
