The website says $25 for a haircut but I was charged $45. Won’t go back because pricing isn’t clear but got a good haircut.

Not one to write reviews but I really have to this time whatever you do do NOT let these people line you up, I got recommended this place by some one I know. Both sides are not even plus, the form is all the way messed up, super atrocious line up the fade is alright tho Ps if you like hygiëne, dont come here either

Very pleasant friendly guys. They gave me an amazing cut and I got so many compliments. I am so glad I found them. Also iguana is Uber cool!

Great barbershop. Have been going for almost 10 years and have yet to have a bad experience. They do get busy so it’s better to call to see how busy they are or get an appointment otherwise. Very reasonable pricing compared to most haircuts at this quality

10/10 out of experience. Came for a walk in. They took me in immediately ( I don't think it could have been more than 10 minutes of a wait maximum). Got a low skin taper by Mike, paid 50 ( tip was 10 ). Definitely recommended 👍

I have been coming to this barbershop for years now. The service is amazing. The atmosphere is great and they do an excellent job cutting hair and work with you to provide you with the best results. Can’t say how much a great guy and what a great businessman Rod is as well. Can’t recommend this shop enough to do it justice!

Called and got a same day appointment... Had to wait a little, but Jai spent an hour giving me a fantastic cut and trimmed the beard... Looking sharp baby! Great shop, great guys... Definitely heading back. KJ's did a stellar job!

Local Black owned business. Friendly service with a father and son cutting hair along with other barbers. I highly recommend. Good prices, great service, friendly environment. They have been serving the Newark and Fremont area for many years. 9/10...

What a nightmare. A young apprentice (named Micah? Michael?) cut my hair. I showed multiple photos of my last cut for him to do exact that. It was a wavy side part top. He couldn't figure it out - he spent 3 minutes on the actual front / top, then spent almost an hour fading the nape. Why? Kept turning the chair and did not ask me a single time how I like it until the very end. I was in shock. I showed him the photos again and said that's not what I wanted at all. He then started "fixing" it WITHOUT PUTTING THE CAPE on me, I got tons of hair all over my jacket, pants, undershirt, etc. I prompted him multiple times to put the cape back on, he didn't listen. After 1.5 hrs he finally gave up and asked the owner Rod to help him out. Rod immediately understood what I wanted and fixed it in less than 10 minutes. For all my trouble Rod told me and the apprentice it would only be $20 this time. After Rod left I handed the apprentice $25 for his effort. To my surprise, he had the audacity to hustle me and insisted that I need to pay up $35 on the spot. I was already late to my next appointment thanks to his lack of skill so I did not argue with him and cough up the extra. In summary a horrible experience. This employee is deceitful, disrespectful to customers and has a complete lack of skill. The only reason I did not give 1-star is because Rod the owner is an upstanding and competent person. However, if he doesn't straighten up his team he'll lose more business as I highly doubt this was that employee's first "hustle" experience.

First time visit... I brought my son in to this barbershop and the barber Eddie was amazing with him he was very professional and he made my day by giving my son a awesome haircut. My son is extremely hard to please and for the first time he was very pleased with his new look. :) Thank you Eddie. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great service and a very comfortable and professional environment. A+
