My special boy who has speech and behavioral issues had such an amazing time getting his gentleman’s cut, I was in tears of joy as I expressed my gratitude to the wonderful barber 💈 these guys have big hearts and talented hands 🙌

This place does have great barbers and service but I don’t understand the massive price increase. 5 years ago a haircut at Sharkys used to cost you $20-$25 now they’re charging $41? I understand inflation is a big problem everywhere but damn.

Had an appointment with sal came here early for an appointment at 10am. Haven’t revived my hair cut till an hour over my appointment. But due to the last customer having to ask for extra treatment. Sal is a great barber I highly recommend him and . He good at small talk

Great place to come and get a cut. I have being coming here for 3yrs and always recieved excellent service and the owner makes sure if there is any issues he takes care of you and fixes it. BEST SHOP IN EAST L.A

I do gotta say this place has patience and skilled barbers for sure. Ever since my boy has gotten haircuts for the first time on, we always make sure to bring him there. His first haircut when we got rid of his red hair he did fine the second one he did a little bit worse the third one he was crazy and then this last one he was wild and out kicking and screaming freaking out but when you just gave him a little candy in his mouth he would calm down immediately like the exorcist girl did in the movie “scary movie” Overall this is a great place not I’ll need to get a good quality haircut from really talented people and a great crew and relaxed atmosphere but it’s also a chill place to take your kid as they are patient and professional making sure that no matter how hard that haircut is they make sure they get it done right so I definitely apply these guys and I would love to give him a 10 star if I could. You can count on us every time from here on out taking our little boy there to get his red hair that catches fire cut!

The best barber shop in Los Angeles by far. These guys are real pros. Very rare to find now a days. Just because you can cut hair does not make you a real professional. This guys are beyond. Keep up the good work guys.

Followed this business to their new location. Normally priced and much nicer than their previous location. Definitely an upgrade! My son's haircut is Fresh AF!... I think the guy's name was Frank. Highly recommended!

Love the atmosphere as far as pool table, t.v and even complimentary beer as u wait for your cut, but its the 1st time i ever payed $20 for my haircut. I come from a place where cuts range from $10-14. If they were a little cheaper i would go back again. But this is a 1 time thing for me. Great place though, just cant afford to give all that luxury to my own hair 😅

Love this barber shop for a few reasons. 1 - Ray Charles works there and he's a GREAT barber. He's very meticulous and knows what he's doing. I've followed him for at least 3 years now and I'd highly recommend him to anyone. 2 - The shop has good interior design and is very comfortable, while you wait to get your haircut. Watch TV, play a video game, play pool and have a complimentary beer, while you wait or while you get your haircut. 3 - All of the staff are very friendly and good at their jobs. If Ray wasn't there I'd feel pretty confident getting my haircut by the other barbers. 4 - It's conveniently located on Whittier Blvd, in a small shopping center with several establishments where you can buy food or drinks before or after your appointment. I'd definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family.

With or without appointment they take an extremely long time. Yes they do an okay job but they lack the ability to focus on their clients. I've been here a good amount of times with my husband and the only one that gets down to business is mark (front left chair) the rest just goof off resulting in plenty of unhappy customers. I won't even get started on the obnoxious short guy (last chair to the left) who decides that everyone in the room should hear his lame jokes/stories.
