This place is elite. Jaime always does me right with the taper fade and lineup. He’s very consistent, the energy is good, and the music is always on point. I would definitely recommend this spot to any guy who needs a clean, fresh fade.

I was looking forward to trying this barbershop for the first time, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. I had an appointment scheduled and arrived on time, yet ended up waiting around 30 minutes while my barber finished with other clients. I understand things can run behind occasionally, but good communication and respect for clients’ time go a long way—especially for those of us with busy schedules and other commitments. What made the situation worse was the follow-up message from the barber, who didn’t take accountability for overbooking or mismanaging his schedule. Instead of acknowledging the delay, he seemed to justify it. That lack of professionalism was the deciding factor for me. There may be skilled barbers here, but professionalism and reliability matter just as much as a good haircut. I hope they improve their appointment management and customer service for future clients.

My boyfriend’s job requires him to get a fresh haircut every week. We were in town over the weekend and decided to give this shop a try. He asked for a simple medium fade with nothing off the top. AND LET ME TELL YOU, THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE HAD TO GO BALD AFTERWARDS! The barber did NOT clean the workspace, leaving my boyfriend covered in several clients hair. Cuts from the straight razor, terrible fade, gross conditions. DO NOT GO!

If you're new beware of which person you choose Might as well go to a cosmetology school and be their experiment . Went twice gave them a second chance, I left with a hair cut I could have done better myself. They left me uneven on both sides to much hair in the back on the top side burns 2 different shapes and sizes. Couldn't find a in-between fade as in either they leave to much hair or leave you bald. The clean up is uneven , not symmetrical. I asked the person who was guiding the person doing my hair to jus don't himself and he said no and kept the person who needed help doing my hair cut because she didn't know how. Never again.

Went there twice. They had me sit with a new kid both times. First time was ok i guess. Gave me slightly different then what i asked for but looked decent. Second time i was UPSET! I asked another barber if he was free and sat me with the same kid when he was chillin the whole time i was there. The new kid gave me a #1 by mistake and i was pretty much bald and there was no fade at all cuz they coupdnt fix it! I will never go there again!!!

Charlie the owner has a very nice and clean barbershop and he has 20 year experience in all haircuts and styles I really recommend to book an appointment it's definitely hard to get a haircut with him as a walk in.

Rich and Famous Barbarshop is the most professional barbershop in Montclair!! I highly recommend!! Ask for Chuck or Gerardo!!!

My son had an appt at 1130. When he got there, the barber was not there. They told him to leave his # and they will call him when he gets there. 1230 still not call. I tell him to go and Just get a cut from anyone. Today is prom day! He gets there at 1235 waiting. The barber is there but no one Called him. 135 he tells me he is next! At 230 they just get to him. I’m So annoyed at this place! If you want to open an establishment, kuddos to you but be PROFESSIONAL! I will NOT allow my boys to waste my money at this establishment any longer. We have been going since they opened and stayed loyal even through the pandemic! Just a very Freaken annoyed mother!

We apologize for your inconvenience and offer you a free haircut when u adress me the owner of the situation so that I know it's not someone else getting a free haircut that's definitely not acceptable to make an appointment and have to wait but we have other awesome barbers who we do take pride in our work and it's our lively hood and we don't appreciate the bad reviews I understand as a business owner we all should be great and professional and on time and no excuses but due to covid we have lost alot of barbers and were working with what we have and these kids I call them don't realize how they can affect others that really depend on their work to make a living I'm the owner Charlie this is my number 9092879772 if u would like an appointment or u want your free haircut for your son I'll be gladly to take care of him myself I apologize for my barber ray he is hard to get a hold of I understand your frustration and you should of not had to deal with this I'm really sorry and disappointed

Sad but I have been going to this place for a few years. Never had bad service. But tonight was a whole Different story... two barbers in there .. barley greeted me... I sit and wait and wait and wait for 45 minutes while dude wants to go to jack in the box and deal with the other barbers baby’s mom acting a fool in the parking lot... I walked out and went somewhere else.. probably won’t go back

By far the best barbershop to bring your kids to. Service is great , positive vibes with all the barbers. I take my son to the barber “Mookie” always blessing my son with a clean cut. The owner Charlie is also very polite and knows how to run his barber shop 👌 I strongly recommend coming to this barber shop prices are good “you get what you pay for “ .👌
