Check YELP! I didn’t have a good experience. For starters, it’s only been 3 weeks and my color is almost gone. She charged me $120 plus tip for what was apparently temporary hair color (unbeknownst to me!) and didn’t even include a cut! The hair color came out neon orange, when we agreed on copper! She thought I couldn’t speak Spanish and joked to her colleague that I looked like a stop light. She got the hair dye all over and stained my face, ears, and skirt, and didnt fully rinse it out of my hair. My scalp was flaky, itchy, and irritated for over a week as a result. I had to use paper towels to dry my hair for two weeks because it would leak so much cheap orange dye on my towels! I use special red shampoo and conditioner to try and preserve my dyed hair, and only wash it a few times a week. Clearly that has done nothing because the color was apparently temporary. I feel like I was robbed, and am so upset. This salon has great reviews on Google so I was really hopeful. I am so disappointed!

I came in for a simple low fade with no cut on the top, and I wanted to keep length all around—including the sides. Unfortunately, the barber didn’t deliver what I asked for and never checked in with me during the haircut to see if I was happy with the progress. The atmosphere wasn’t ideal for me. The music was extremely loud—if you enjoy blaring music first thing in the morning, this might be your spot. Personally, I found it overwhelming. Cleanliness was another issue. The floor was covered in hair and only seemed to be swept after a large buildup, rather than maintained regularly. Lastly, the inconsistent and indifferent quotes on pricing felt unprofessional. I was told one price over the phone but ended up paying more than expected. Just stay away from here!

Don’t go to the older lady that has orange blond hair she did a horrible job , I asked her to for a simple layer and for her to frame my face . When all was done I asked her to blow dry so my hair wouldn’t be all wet . I asked to her to fix all the uneven hair pieces and said she normally doesn’t do these types of hair cuts cus she doesn’t know how to do them . I told her I was extremely unsatisfied and she said next time not to come back get my hair cut . With no remorse or sympathy. Horrible customer service with no experience. Will contact the The Board of Barbering and Cosmetology

Horrible! I explained to the barber how I wanted my hair cutt and he kepted forgetting. He asked and kept asking. He then decided to cutt my hair how he wanted too. He left my hair looking bad. I also cutt my beard. I had to tell him to fix my beard because it was uneven. I didnt catch the Alfalfa hair until I got home. Now that the hair is growing back you can see how much hair he took off trying to fix his mistakes. Horrible!! Over charged! The barber told me the price and it was $10 over. If I didnt ask, the barber and the Cashier were going to pocket the money. As I am leaving the cashier wanted to charge me again, you just charged me 30 seconds ago! It wasnt even busy, luckily the lady in charge saw when the cashier gave me my change.

Eddie the stylist is great and his coworkers are equally skilled!! This is easily the best barbershop around. Such friendly staff and festive atmosphere. All of the stylists are experienced and skilled. They have a full service nail shop as well. I have been coming here since I moved back to LA in 2023. They are open everyday!! They take credit cards as well as cash. This is a hidden jewel in the neighborhood. I will not go anywhere else and highly recommend it to anyone! Give them a try!!

Referred by a coworker. Tried them out on a Thursday, noon. Got attended right away. Showed the barber google images, and the results were acceptable. Relatively fair price and not too rushed. Caveat: Majority of staff more comfortable communicating in Spanish, but images helps. Thank you!

I enjoy coming down here and getting really good styles for great deals. The stylists are very professional and hospitable, and they accept cash or card. Would definitely recommend to anyone that would rather give their money to Mom and Pops businesses over a Supercuts.

located within the neighborhood swap meet. I like coming here sometimes because it reminds me of El Salvador, (the salon area). a variety of services are offered, i typically go for a pedicure and eyebrow threading. i recommend coming here only if you have leisure time, the wait can be long sometimes. there are lots of ladies and gentlemen with different specialties! free parking, public restroom available.
