I used to come here every time when Jenny worked in there. And when she moved out of U.S. I kept on coming for a few times.... unfortunately any barber that cut my hair in that shop didn't do as well as Jenny. So I found another barber at another shop and was very happy about my haircut she did for me. Unfortunately she moved to Vegas a few weeks ago so I had to find a new barber. I didn't have any free time for looking lately so went to this barber shop hoping to get a better experience than years ago. Unfortunately that was my second worst experience ever! I explained very detailed how I wanted my hair to be cut. The length and the style. It felt like the Asian lady ( that work closest to the window) didn't care at all and wanted to cut my hair her way and as quick as possible. And she's the one I remember from the past. I think she's the owner in there,.. Anyway, Thanks God she's only a barber....not a surgeon or dentist. Even the awfully cut hair easy to grow. Anyway...this shop doesn't exist for me anymore... The other barbers at that shop might be still very good though...but I'll never find out... P.S. that was my first time ever I didn't even tip $$ for cutting my hair

Used to come to this barbershop for years until the barbers started ignoring my instructions. I started bringing my son to get his haircut here and they seem to cut his hair just fine so I decided to give them another shot, since my barber was out of town and I really needed a cut. Worst mistake ever! They ignored my instructions again and my high fade cut turned into a flat top. I work in corporate and visit customers on a daily basis. I will never come back to this place again or bringing my kids here either.

My partner went for a haircut and had clearly given proper instructions on exactly what he has wanted. They have messed up his hair beyond repair. THIS IS THE WORST HAIRCUT OF HIS LIFE! Would not recommend this place to anyone

1st. Time the lady did a Absolutely Fantastic Job on my 19 Yr son's hair!!💯 The 2nd. Time the same lady did a SO SO OK Job on His Hair!!🤨 7/10⭐'s Even Tho We Picked The Same Picture #11 Out of Pics on The Wall🖼️ She Did It Different and Left it Longer Around The Sides Than I Specifically Asked!! Didn't Think I Had To Sit There And Babysit So She Did It Right!!☹️ They're All From The 1st. Time Except for The Far Away 1 on The Couch, If You Zoom In That's How Long She Left It, Pic Is Right Out Shower🚿But It's Near Impossible To Style, I Have To Do It For Him Every Time!!😡😑🤬

Today i went to cut my hair and beard in this place, that was my biggest fault! The lady in picture just pissed me off😠 she dont wanna listen just wanna say, i took the special offer hair and beard 54 doller she ended up doing my hair and demand me 28 doller and later on romel (nice guy) ended up doing my beard and i paid 28 doller! And she also threatened me to not going to that store if we go she will call police,is that a place where people serve customer? Or what im not sure that lady is horrible not recommended this place and it seems she is racist as well, and the haircut was terrible

UPDATE: You think you know somebody: I've fallen asleep in Mitsu's chair trusting her to take good care of my hair and my beard and moustache for the past 8 years. And I've asked her before to not touch my beard or moustache, and she normally leaves them alone. But this last time she just went for the stache and I left feeling overtly violated. I wish I'd had the presence of mind to say "hey, not cool. I'm not paying for this." But trauma folks freeze in the moment, so all I managed was that I told her not to touch my moustache and that now she made me look like dirty old man. Definitely not worth the drive from West Hollywood if the owner can't control her own impish impulses. "A dog that bites is a dog that bites." UPDATE: I MOVED to Weho and Mitsu moved down the block a little bit. Having tried a couple other barbers, she is SIMPLY THE BEST shave and haircut combo I know! ✨️👑✨️ Mitsu is amazing: best shave of my life. Best haircut value in LA; would be worth the trip and it's in my backyard. And this place rocks at Christmas! It's a real pillar of the neighborhood.

I can only speak on behalf of male haircuts. I cannot emphasize any more when I say this place is garbage. the price does not meet the quality of haircut. I asked for something and got what they wanted to do. I asked why they weren’t doing what I asked and they got angry and refused to correct their mistake. They claimed that I told them it was what I wanted. it was my fault that I didn’t get what I requested even though I repeated myself numerous times. Then she claimed that I should have said something. And continued to cut my hair with anger. Moreover, when finished I had to repeat myself so that I could at least get the haircut fixed. (She was rude) Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place if you’re a male. I advise if you are looking for anything better and more affordable just visit LA TRADE TECH. Their students will take care of you for a low price and even free if you arrive at the right time This place does not show concern for their clients and I would definitely not recommend this place

Listen, I’ve been going to this barbershop for years. The two photos attached shows what I ask for vs what I get. The veteran barbers here are good but the new ones they brought on have been HORRIBLE. I can give you countless reasons but I will just tell you this: proceed with caution. 💇🏻‍♂️ I don’t know why I .have to tip when they have been nothing inconsistently horrible!

So, I went in and explained to the barber that I wanted a fade down to a 1 on the sides and scissor on top. After the cut was done, she shows me the haircut and I politely tell her that I’d like it to blend more…I could see the line between the two trimmer sizes. She immediately gets upset and I try to explain that it’s ok and that I’ll just do a 1 all around. She kept telling me that she gave me what I asked for and that it was right. I disagree again, and the manager comes over. I was asked to pay $10 more to fix the haircut because “it’s a whole new cut” and I couldn’t believe that I would have to pay a surcharge to fix a mistake, something that was definitely not a fade. If that was the best fade she could do, I understand not every barber works the same but that’s not what I asked for. Seemed like a matter of pride, so I decided to leave and fix the cut at another shop. These are the comparison photos below. Nice establishment, but not worth $23 + the tip I left for being a difficult customer. It’s my hair at the end of the day, hard to believe someone would tell me I’m wrong and that “it’s fine”.

Quick service, but the quality was very poor. Fade had a few spots and a good amount of long hairs missed. Line up was poorly done and for the price, definitely not worth it. I wouldn't recommend unless you were desperate. I give it 2 stars for the speed of service and politeness from the barbers but quality is 0.
