Such a solid spot. Super welcoming from the second you walk in. It honestly feels like a safe space; you can talk about anything and never feel judged. He’s genuinely great at what he does. You can tell he knows his craft and actually cares. The vibe is 🔥 great music on legit equipment (sounds amazing, not just background noise). Plus the retro TVs with 8-bit games and old VHS tapes running? Such a cool touch. Just an all-around great experience. Highly recommend.

When I came to LA, I was looking. For a barber that could cut my hair downtown. It had been almost 2 months since my last cut, and I needed some suggestions. He was able to consult with me and give me suggestions on what I could do. He was able to make me look like a new man! Thanks man!

Stumbled upon Robert online and so glad I did! Been coming to him for about 5-6 months now and he always gives a full service clean quality cut. Takes his time, is personable, and most importantly does a great job. 10/10 recommend and will keep coming back.

Robert is the man! I went in wanting a new look and he delivered. The haircut came out clean and polished, and he even helped me understand how to style it. Beyond the cut, the service is great and his studio is unique. I would highly recommend checking him out.

Great barber , great cuts! I moved to Downtown LA about 5 months ago. Looked for a barber on google and this was one of the closest and the first to pop up in my area. Easy to talk to and makes you feel welcomed. He’s great at giving feedback on hair styles and the out come of his hair cuts, especially the fades are great. If you’re located in the Downtown Los Angeles area , you definitely should check him out.

20/10 ... Daniel truly cares about his craft and goes above and beyond to get it right. He saw the vision of my beard and made it the best it has ever looked. He is truly a master of his craft and genuinely a kind and caring person. Amazing experience.

I just recently moved to California. I had been searching for a barber. I came across Robert’s page, liked his photos and he has amazing reviews. So glad I get my cut done here. I won’t be going anywhere else. Studio is clean and welcoming with a retro vibe. If you’re on the fence, get your haircut and beard needs taken care of here. You won’t be disappointed!!

Robert is extremely talented and detailed, he was very patient and made sure I left with the exact haircut I wanted (low fade with taper and top trim + neck cleanup) Which also is the best haircut I’ve ever had. This is where I will be going to for the foreseeable future and I highly recommend Robert and his services to everyone in Los Angeles. You will not be disappointed

Came here for a last minute haircut. Robert was able to schedule me right after work. I showed him two pictures of how I style my hair and what type of haircut I usually get. He took it from there. Definitely knows what he’s doing! I appreciate a barber that cuts your hair how you want it and puts his own “signature” on it. The vibes were a plus. The retro style in his studio brought me back to my teens!

First time at Robert Daniel Barber Studio and I’ll definitely be back. The shop is in a cool location, and when you walk in you’re instantly hit with a great vibe, retro movie touches, fun decorations, and a comfortable waiting area. My wants were listened to and helpful suggestions to get me looking my best were given and executed to perfection. Even better, after my cut I got to kick back on the couch, play some vintage Mario Bros, and watch him bless my friend with a fresh cut too. 10/10 spot.
