I arrived in Los Angeles a year and a half ago. I needed to get established with a new barber. I happened upon this barber shop and was assisted by Cruz. I have been extremely impressed with his services and have referred a couple of clients already! Highly recommend Cruz at Modern Barber shop!

Cruz is an amazing barber! He’s incredibly skilled and pays close attention to detail, making sure my cut is perfect every single time. The shop has a cool vibe, and I always leave feeling fresh. Highly recommend!

This place is a joke I call and make an appointment in advance appointment was scheduled at 5pm and when arrived they said the person who was in charge of the reservation was not there So unprofessional wasting peoples time. Update: Cruz the owner take care of the issue and I went back to get a free haircut and he did a great job. He does care about his customers.

I’ve gone to Cruz for a couple years now so when he started up a shop I followed. I have dense curly hair and it’s always hard finding a new barber that can’t style the texture properly. I always get a good fade and a lineup but I’ve also had braided hair that he did well.

Been getting my cut with Cruz for over a year now and there's good reason for it. Stumbled upon his page when I needed a last minute haircut and my old barber couldn't get me You show him a picture of what you want and he will make it look good. I’ve been going to Cruz at Modern Barbershop for a while now and he’s one of the best barbers around. He’s attentive to his clients’ needs, takes his time, and makes sure every cut is clean and sharp. His fades are always on point and he even styles your hair afterwards. On top of his skill, he’s friendly, professional, and makes the whole experience enjoyable. I also recommend Modern Barbershop as a whole. It’s a newer shop but all the barbers are really good and I always see clients coming back. A lot of my friends go to Cruz now too and just like me, they keep coming back. Highly recommend.
