i asked the lady a low fade drop slick back & scissor trim on the tips of my hair from the top. I was already getting anxious to leave because i’ve been sitting on the chair for 50 or 40 min. Then when she was done, my right side of my hair was upper & my left side was downer. So i told her to fix it because it don’t look good. I go home & wasn’t satisfied with ny hair. Then i go back & the lady & the coworker were eating lunch so i asked Jesse if he can cut my hair because i didn’t wanna bother them eating. I told Jesse if he can just fix the sides & the top of my hair a lil. Jesse spent another 40 min or idk an hour fixing my hair. I expected a slick back low drop fade! he left me with patches, cuts & a rash, because they don’t clean their tools. Honestly it’s just sad because this barbershop was my childhood & clearly the barbers ain’t taking pride in their work anymore. i’m sorry to say it but JESSE should just retire. Never coming here again. Don’t waste your time & money. Idk what hair cut he left me, it’s a shame because my hair grows long & i cut my hair every 3 months

I have been getting my hair cut at this barber shop for years now. It's the only place I can go to at 5:30 to 6:00 AM M-Th and get my hair cut and leave renewed. I give it a 4 star rating because it is a small barber shop in the middle of Boyle Heights on Cesar Chavez, so it's not Rodeo Drive and could've easily gotten a 3 star rating for being an "okay" place. However, due to their great customer care and opening so early in the morning when most people are just barely waking up or have yet to even wake up, I give 4 stars because they are so accommodating. If you are an early bird and need to 'chop the mop,' we could be fighting over who will get tended to first!

Always great service especially from Yajahira! If you want a great haircut I highly recommend coming here especially for a great price. Still a great experience

If I could rate this place I wouldn't give it any stars.., cause for 1 person kills it for the rest of the staff maybe not all the hairstylist from this place have the same hand for cutting hair. But it was bad 👎

The parking here is terrible just for a haircut ,the place is ugly and cluttered and the barbers are always talking rather than cutting hair. On top of that they gave me the wrong haircut i asked for a taper and they cut almost nothing and made me look like johnny bravo . And even worse they still have the nerve to charge me a lot and they kept playing around as if they cut my hair skin deep instead of what they were supposed to.

You guys want a good hair cut, go with barber named Avila. He's been cutting my brothers hair for years and always does a great job. Takes his time, good clean lines, and always very nice. Best barber there!

Second time I go this barber shop since I'm new to the area. First time was good, the guy who cut my hair did a good job and cleaned up my facial hair also, hence the reason why I went back. But the second time was the total opposite. This time a different guy cut my hair and messed it up bad, worse than super cuts. He messed up the fade and left portions of my hair uneven. The whole time he was talking to other people and not paying attention. Very dissapointed given the good experience from the first time.
