I've had my hair cut there many times for years. The last few times I got my hair cut by Sierra, and she does an amazing job. She's very sweet and friendly and makes me feel special and pampered. She does a great job with long layers and styling. I highly recommend her.

Rude stylist who seemed like i was wasting her time from the moment I walked in. I've been getting the same haircut for 20 years and always describe it the same. She acted like I was an alien and couldn't understand what "short on the sides and back/ long enough on top to comb back" means. I tried to explain it 4 times and she looked like i was asking her to do calculus. "So you want me to completely change the shape of your head?" - lady who needs a new job. Nope, not you. Walked out...first time ever. Boooo, won't be coming back. Save yourself the trip.

I had an amazing experience at Floyd’s Melrose! Jason gave me the perfect haircut—he was super sweet, great to talk to, and very efficient. The receptionist was also incredibly kind and patient, which made the whole visit even better. It was such a fantastic way to start my morning! I’ll definitely be coming back.

It’s a good place to go get your haircut and not expensive at all, and they all know their stuff there. It’s a place for the cool kids or just an old guy like myself to get their haircut. They got it all on lock! You’re all good, They play good music and they’re pretty quick and thorough of what you desire as far as your hair goes!

I got the same quality cut I pay $100 bucks for at another salon. I’m SO picky, too. The stylist had good training, lots of experience, and did some careful scissor work. Had good conversation with the host about David Beckhams hair in the 00s, and Winona Ryder in Heathers. I can’t recommend them enough, they’re not crazy like those other melrose salons. Very demure, very mindful ;] thank you!!!

Worst haircut I’ve ever received, was given a bowl cut against my wishes. Guy’s shoulders were trembling like the clippers weighed 50 lbs as he unsuccessfully attempted to evenly cut the top of my hair. He then proceeded to buzz the majority of the rest of my hair before I could tell him that I normally don’t do that. He didn’t even attempt to fade it and blend it all together, but at least I got 10 seconds of the massage gun on my shoulders. I also paid for the shampooing but didn’t get so much as a spray of water before he obliterated the top of my head.

Came out of a haircut bleeding, with some pretty vicious bite marks from the clippers on my neck. I'll have to do blood tests for hepatitis and HIV for the next 6 months or so, because I very much doubt that I'm the first client these clippers drew blood on today.

I usually go to Floyd’s and get awesome haircuts, I am disappointed with my experience this time. I came in with a picture reference but explained that I wanted a very low taper, the lady cutting my hair parted my hair to look more like an under cut, I explained that I didn’t want that because I had been growing the sides for 8 months. She proceeded to say “you’re crazy” that’s where I should’ve gotten up and decided not to get a haircut with her. The left side was exactly what I wanted, but when getting home and inspecting the haircut further the right side was exactly what I had expressed I did not want. Now I have to start all over with the growing out process and have a botched undercut. It’s just frustrating that I communicated exactly what I wanted and was not listened to.

Just got done getting my son son a haircut at Floyds – he looks so handsome now! The lady who cut his hair, Dominique I believe her name was, was chattin him up and sooo sweet to us! For $20 including tip I got him cut and styled/gelled and now he looks bomb! We also asked her to be extra thorough on brushing out his neck after, cause his hairs are so straight and thin sometimes they slip down through the collar. She obliged and we were good to go! Making the appointment as well as getting it done once we arrived!
