I went to Dubs with my boyfriend and Danny did an amazing job. He really hooked it up—clean cut, attention to detail, and super chill experience. If you’re looking for a solid barber who knows what he’s doing, I definitely recommend getting your haircut at Dubs.

Dan has been my barber for over 20 years. I’ve tried other barbers who are closer to my area in the San Fernando Valley but none of them can cut my hair like Dan who knows my head. I don’t have to explain what kind of cut I want. He just knows. Other barbers I’ve gone to take much longer than Dan to cut my hair. The cut isn’t as good and doesn’t last that long. This is why I remain a loyal customer.

Best barber in LA. I’ve been going to him since 2006. Not only is he my barber, but now he’s also my son’s barber. Consistent quality, great service, and someone I trust completely.

He’s a nice guy and the haircut itself was not terrible — just fairly average. What surprised me, though, was his premium pricing: $60 for a cut in a messy and unclean shop (I even saw crawling cockroaches) feels completely out of line. Combined with the rough and painful handling of my ears during the cut, the overall experience left me with an unpleasant aftertaste, especially given the conditions and the level of skill.
