Spur-of-the-moment haircut brought me and my son to this DTLA barbershop. Really glad. Ryan was a remarkable barber and host. Offered me a beer, amd we had great conversations as he cut for us both. If we were local, this would no doubt become my place. 5 stars.

The guy who cut my hair was nice enough. It did have an odd smell, and there wasn't much conversation. Usually when I've gone to a barbershop, they've ended with a straight razor along the hair line, and a massage. Eith with a back massager, or on the scalpe. Neither was done.

I have been stood up three times by this company. I made a hair appointment and arrived to find the business closed and no one inside. Each time this has happened it was with Angel. I love her haircuts but this is too much. They don’t honor your reservation that you make. They don’t tell you when they cancel your appointment, you only find out after arriving and seeing you’ve been stood up. I took time out of my day to get to the appointment and not even the store manager was there. I waited for 40 minutes, and no one came. Screw this place, it’s complete trash!!

Stopped by on a whim after having dinner down the street. My hubby was needing a haircut and figured let's see if they can get him in. Sure did! The younger guy who is originally from Northern California (sorry we didn't get your name!) did such a great job. Super cool, personable and professional as well. Got my hubby looking clean cut and handsome. Thank you!

Don’t come here for a haircut. I never leave reviews but this was actually horrible. Good fade but the trim on top????? I asked for a trim off the ends and showed the barber the length and the barber with the blonde afro suddenly cut off 3/4 of my hair length. Then when i asked him.. why did you cut off that much he tried to rationalise it with some nonsense. I’ve actually never been so upset with a haircut before. Had to try and fix it when i got home. Please heed my warning when i say this experience was honestly horrible. Lucky i paid them.

Atmosphere is welcoming. The barbers had exceptional hospitality. My haircut was perfect and how I wanted it. Price wise: expensive. But worth every darn penny. I highly recommend this barbershop.

Not recommended for a good quality or fair priced haircut. Barber Ryan was quite distracted during my haircut. I told him what I wanted beforehand, he asked me how it looked at the end and I asked him again to fade. But before he fixes the cut, he takes the neck collar off, then continues to buzz and trim for 2-3 minutes letting all my hair go down my shirt.

I never write reviews legit, but I feel it’s my duty to warn the people that visit here. It was my first and last time, the guy who worked on me, shaved off my mustache that I’ve been growing for months without consulting me, and shaved my beard as if we were in 1960’s with straight cuts that I never asked for. He got rude and offended when I explained to him that there must have been a misunderstanding. This is probably because he had a few beers before we started cause I noticed his smell as he started his job. I left unsatisfied and I still had to pay 42 dollars. This place may have a long history or whatever, but for it to allow such service is not a good sign. Kinda wish I never went in. I’m sure there are much better places in DTLA.

This place is awful. Charged me $52 for a cut. Dude which was doing the cut is lazy and unprofessional. I have to go to another barber shop to fix it all. He haven't even taken scissors. Don't come here. They don't respect you. On top of it place looks and smells like we're in a middle of ghetto. Please have in mind if you'll visit the place act and ask for what you pay. Don't be nice guy. Better be rude and strict. Otherwise they'll take advantage of you.

Classic barbershop vibe: friendly trash talk, raucous music, sports and music memorabilia. I received just a perfect cut: it was exactly what I asked for and matches my style and features. They got me in and out in about fifteen minutes, even though my barber was professional and thorough. The edging is on point, and he trimmed my eyebrows, too! I intend to come back for the straight razor shave and cannot recommend it highly enough.
