50$ for a little trim is crazy, so dumb, they need to lower prices what they think im bill gates and I can just spend 50$ on a haircut the homeless person can do better then that just lives on the street.

The lady who cut my beard was very gentle, but not a good communicator. I had to tell her to turn off her iPhone because multiple radios and iPhones were blasting simultaneously. Next to me was a big guy with tattoos all over him, blasting rap music on his iPhone. Not a refined nor relaxed place altogether.

Worst experience I’ve had in my life. Despite the fact that I explained how important my hair is for my work and showed photos of the exact haircut I wanted, she did a whole different thing not even close to what I asked. She ruined my hair and I lost my filming job because of her incompetence.

Angelo's/Sullivans is my absolute favorite barbershop in downtown LA. The barbers are friend, talented and the prices are fair. My haircuts are complimented often and I refer people here as often as I can

I'm someone who's very picky when it comes to barbers. Finding a new one in a new city/location is something I dread every time. I'm so happy I found this place. I've only had one cut there so far but Bella knocked it out of the park. Highly recommend.

RUDE!!!! Called to make an appointment and ANGEL acts like he doesn’t want anyone to make an appointment has a nasty attitude and hung up on me and refused to answer my call when I called again. All I did was ask to make an appointment and asked when the next available was and when I asked him who that was with he started raising his voice. I said wow I’m just trying to make an appointment and he hung up. Too bad. I’m a loyal customer and tip VERY well. Don’t want my money? Fine I’ll go else where. I wanted to go here because of the good reviews but even if you’re the best barber in town I wouldn’t go to you with that ATTITUDE.

My first time getting my haircut here! Hopefully it will be my Barbershop for years to come. I met Angel. A very special lady! Very experienced, very thoughtful , incredibly funny. I would recommend Angel to all my friends. She is that good! They take walk-ins. I prefer calling and making an appointment. The price for a haircut is $30.00. Very reasonable for Downtown Los Angeles. ANGELO'S Barbershop # 8 is a full service Barbershop. Haircut, shave, colorist, stylist. Shop is clean and conveniently located. COVID 19 Regulations observed. Masks required! Wheelchair accessible. Thank you Angel! You are awesome!

I love this place but I can’t go back until they actually start abiding by the city’s mask policy. Last time I was there most of the staff were unmasked the entire time in a really small, poorly ventilated space pressed up against their clients. Haircuttees are told they can wear a mask or not. The barbers do a great haircutting job, but I wish they thought a little bit more about their potentially vulnerable clients.

The hairstylist was apologizing profusely as she cut my hair because she knew she messed up. She cut my hair up so high that it looked like a mohawk. As a working professional, I got so many stares and comments the next day in the office that I had to go somewhere else for ANOTHER haircut in order to buzz it all off. Truly a disaster. Again, the hairstylist apologized throughout the haircut (she messed up early) but I was still expected to pay full price. Never again.

Great haircut, in a real barber shop. Over $20 for a cut, so pricey, but they are in a great location in the middle of the city and must pay the rent I suppose. I have a very tricky regular cut, it tends to spike up unless done just right, and Angel, who took care of me, got it just right. They also validate parking in the lot behind them, which I wish I'd known before I dropped $5 on a street meter parking nearby. Validation makes it an easy choice. Honestly, I came in here in a rush because I needed a cut for a meeting at work, and it was Monday. Most barber shops are closed Monday. These guys are open 7 days a week! I'll be back. Sorry no haircut pics. You'll just have to trust me!
