Syndicate Barbershop is solid. Chill environment, good people, and they keep it simple and professional. Big shout-out to Nic Cano — he’s been keeping my cuts clean and consistent every time. Dude knows what he’s doing. If you want a reliable barber and a no-nonsense shop, this is the spot.

Whether you need a quick clean up or a compete style change Joey and the guys are well versed in classic and modern men’s hairstyles. The shop itself exudes barber shop cool, so you definitely feel you are in an authentic setting in capable hands. In a field of talent in the area Joey and Syndicate are a cut above the rest . If you’re looking for a real-deal, no-BS barbershop in Long Beach, Syndicate Barber Shop is the spot. This place has that classic, old-school vibe with just the right amount of edge. It feels like a barbershop should feel—clean, cool, welcoming, and full of character. It’s not some trendy spot trying to sell you overpriced beard oil; it’s about solid cuts, good conversation, and a real community vibe. From the moment you walk in, you can tell the barbers here take pride in their craft. The attention to detail is legit. Whether you’re getting a clean fade, a traditional cut, or a beard trim, they take their time and get it right. The guys know what they’re doing, and they care about the end result, not just rushing you out the chair. What I appreciate most is the consistency—every time I go, I get a great cut. No surprises, no weird lines, no uneven fades. They also listen, which is huge. You can describe what you want, or even just show a photo, and they’ll nail it without overcomplicating things. The shop itself is super clean but still has a relaxed, vintage feel. Classic chairs, cool décor, and good music playing in the background—none of that sterile, corporate energy. It feels like a place with roots in the community, and you can tell a lot of the clients are regulars. There’s a reason people keep coming back. Appointments are easy to book online, and they’re usually on time, which I appreciate. Also, the prices are fair for the level of quality you’re getting—definitely worth it.

I have been going to syndicate for about 12 years now. The ambiance is cool. The set up of the barber shop is a classic old school/vintage American vibe. The cuts are on point and not too pricey compared to other shops. Appointment only. However, they usually have availability, or will try to squeeze you in with a barber. The location is also very nice. A block away from the beach. You can enjoy a nice hair cut and a nice walk along the beach.

Made an appointment, showed up 3 minutes late. My first time here and there was a big guy sitting in the first chair right when you walk in. He told me I was 5 minutes late and that he can’t see me anymore. It was clearly an ego play, I didn’t argue and walked out. I can tell he was trying to be an alpha and wanted me to apologize. I don’t mind apologizing, but I didn’t appreciate his approach. Very odd and definitely won’t be back here again.

Great place to get a haircut! The barbers who work there are really cool. I was fortunate to have Chester as my barber. He does a sweet job! But all of them are are top notch! This is a place off the beaten path, yet it has a really hip vibe to it. Guys with beards who like the crisp look, you’ll love this place! Availability : I would encourage to call ahead and book an appointment. As for walk-in’s..it’s only if theres an availability that day. There’s Chris, Zuku, Adam,Chester and Brandon. The price of a haircut starts at 30 duckets. And it’s well worth it! You just can’t go wrong with this place. ***Lastly, while waiting for your turn, should you arrive a little early to your appointment ..or even afterwards. Check out this cool little place, that serves really good coffee. It’s directly across the street from the Syndicate. The coffeehouse is called … Kids on Coffee. I promise you, you’ll love the coffee there!

Chris R. was my stylist when I recently visited. He did a great job understanding what I wanted based on a picture I showed him. He was a professional, cut the hair cleanly, and got me comfy with my first hard part. Also a great guy to talk to. Prices are an absolutely a win. Definitely recommend!

First off let me say this was the best face shave I've ever had. Sergio was meticulous to detail and didn't let one hair go missed. The shop was really cool and reminded me of an older tattoo parlor. The guys that work there are very cool and relaxed with customers. I heard nothing but good things from customers that were leaving from getting haircuts as well. The prices are extremely reasonable for the service. They prefer appointments as a heads up. Amazing shop for a cut and shave period.
