This review is an old gripe that I believe needs to be addressed. I started frequenting this barbershop when it first opened and had two barbers. I was young, approximately 14-16 years of age, so that means the hard-earned money I spent here came from my parents . On multiple occasions, the owner, Gabriel, would get upset about me not wanting to just sit in anybody's chair to get my hair cut. On this last occasion, he yelled at me for sticking up for my parents ' hard-earned cash that I did not want to spend with just any of his barbers. He never attempted to rectify the situation nor apologized. I have not been to this barbershop in ten years. Hopefully, people and children are now allowed to spend their parents' money as they see fit.

When my son called to make an app, because as a walk in you have to wait well over an hour to get serviced, whoever answered the phone didn't specify that they charge $10 extra for the appointment, I guess something about getting a specific person for the haircut. Then even with an appt it took 1 1/2 hrs for both of my boys to get their haircuts. Just think they should be more "precise" with their pricing, and not try to sneak in an extra charge. So don't think about walking in unless your willing to wait 2 plus hrs or don't book an online appt unless you want to pay extra. Horrible service, never going back there ever again, scammers. The haircut wasn't all that either. My son was never told about the $10 fee for an appt. Adding it on after the fact is a SCAM. Also waiting 2 hrs for a cut without an appt is ridiculous. Call me cheap again I'll keep calling you guys scammers. $10 fee for an appt is price gouging. It's my choice if I want to pay $10 or not. My son's haircut was left crooked in the front. So there is my review on the haircut itself.

Wow… this hurts because you said nothing about how good your haircut was… I respect your comment but don’t be upset or give us a bad review, because we gave you an option… you walk in or pay $10 more for appointment. That’s the option and doesn’t make us scammers, you are wrong for leaving reviews based off of you being cheap, not leaving a review on the quality work we do. We do take our time with our haircuts because quality matter to us more that quantity, we just might not be your type of barbershop, but don’t discredit us because we gave you an option, you wait or pay for appointment.

I been to this barber shop twice . Every time had been a pleasant experience. The guy with the short hair and neck tattoo makes you feel welcome. Overall a great environment. Very clean. All the babers are very polite. I got a hair cut by Arturo. Check him out! He does a great job!

Great barbershop in the Northside of Long Beach. There's a parking lot located next to the shop, so no stressing to find parking, especially in that area, it's nearly impossible. The shop is very clean, tidy and modern. There's a spacious waiting/seating area. I had my haircut with Marcus. And he's great. I showed him a picture of the haircut I wanted(Mid Skin Drop Fade, with a texture fringe top). He took his time but with a sense of purpose. Along the way, he made sure to ask questions before proceeding to the next critical step. When he was done, I've never been more satisfied or content with a haircut in a long while. I'm definitely coming back as a regular. I wish I could give more than five stars. This barbershop has more than four or five barbers at a time. They do take walk-ins but I recommend you make an appointment via "In The Cut" app.

Presley she was awesome she truly did a transformation. It was my first time visiting the shop. The customer service was excellent everyone spoke in the shop this young lady took me in she took her time she asked questions and how I liked it, I told her you choose cuz she is the barber she gave me a bald fade I look brand new I feel good I feel like a brand new man, she was awesome I think from now on this will be my regular barber shop you could just feel the love all through. Thank you Presley for doing an awesome job..

Came in as a walk-in didn’t wait more than 3 minutes. Alex was my barber, he is a super chill guy easy to talk with. He asked me all the right questions as to what I was looking for, I even showed him a picture which usually helps the barber get a better understanding. After I told him what I wanted he proceeded to explain everything back to “double check” which I really appreciate. He was very thorough and took his time with my cut and it came out super nice. I was very happy with cut and will definitely be back.

Me and both of my boys are here every two weeks... for the last 7+ years! ALWAYS a great haircut, always a good time. Gabe only hires great barbers. Gabe, Manny, Sam, Andrew and Tony... the who crew is amazing, and love what they do. They are all great with the little guys too... Manny, Gabe and Sam have been cutting my boys since they were under 2 years old. They are good, so they are busy... so, make an appointment ahead of time if you don't want to wait!
